Thank you for always posting these! My daughter has so much fun at these workshops and I love the time we get together doing them. And for those who are on the fence about the ages. My daughter started them a couple months before her 3rd birthday and she can do most of the work herself with me just telling her the directions!

You are so welcome Michele! Thanks so much for your feedback! Glad to hear your daughter enjoys them!

Great to know about the ages! My son is almost 3 and this looks like one he could actually do. Did you ever have problems with the store saying she was too young?

        • Liz

I bring my two year old in and he is never the youngest one and no one comments. I drive the nails in and he liked to hammer after me. Then he decorates with paint or puts the stickers on. Loves it and I don’t feel awkward at all.

Erin, we just brought our daughter for the first time last month and she just turned 3 and no one said anything. She had fun! 😊

        • Andrea

My daughter started them at 18 months old and my store encouraged it.

My son won’t be 3 until Feb. We’ve been doing them for a couple months. Nobody has said anything about his age. I love that they get there own apron and little pin with the project that they completed.

We had two store employees suggest the workshops to us when we went in to buy paint. I asked if they were too young (my kids are 2 and 3) and they said no. We went last weekend for the first time and the kids loved it. There were other kids their age, and many older kids.

I took my 2 boys for the first time last month.
Ages 6 and 2&1/2 they loved it.

This makes me wish I was a kid. I remember doing bird feeders with my kids when they were young/little.

Aww, what a sweet memory. Thanks for sharing Tarri!

  3. Karin

Thanks so much for the heads up! I just signed up my daughter…she loves to do the workshops. My son always did, too, but now he’s “too old for that”. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Lol! You’re welcome Karin! 😉

I just signed my kids up for the first time im so excited I thought they were strict on ages so I never signed them up before. But I think my kids will really enjoy this one

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! Have fun!

  5. Lynn

I agree with the others. We love doing these. My kids started just after turning 2. There are lots of younger kids there so don’t be concerned with the suggested age. Have fun and thanks for posting them!

      You’re welcome Lynn!
