I remember last year Walmart had some pretty hefty discounts on 4 Lego sets in store, one week prior to Black Friday. Can’t remember if that meant the Thursday or the Friday before, but it’s worth checking out tomorrow or Friday in case they have a repeat deal.
However, I think these discounted sets were in the 2014 Black Friday ad, and they just offered the Black Friday price a week early. I just double checked and I didn’t see any sets in this year’s ad. Wishful thinking!

I have gotten great deals on Legos at our local kids consignment shop. I was able to print out pdf’s of the instructions online (one was some kind of ship and one was a beauty salon), wash them and then ‘pretend’ they are new by putting it together with the presents. It looks cool and the kids are thrilled.

I just looked up their price matching /coupon policy today. You cannot use a target coupon when u price match. But you can use a manufacturers coupon. This coupon will be a target coupon.

sorry but again about the cartwheel thing online—one of the cartwheel books i was looking for last week, the store manager said was only online….so what good is the cartwheel???
it is probably available at some stores, just not the one you were shopping. And they told me they are starting to offer some online cartwheel, just not on everything.

side note – Target seems to be beta testing a rewards program. I saw an app in the app store and it said to go to go to redperks.com. It says only in select areas and doesn’t say where those areas are. I’m not in a major metro so I’m not surprised that it was not available to me but I thought others might be able to get into the beta

Oddly enough, it is available in the Raleigh Durham NC area. I shop in both Burlington and Durham/Raleigh and in Durham I get points for red perks. In Burlington, I don’t.

I think the Lego exclusion might have to do with an expected Lego shortage. A few news sites have covered the story .

I was at Kmart today and they had a decent Lego collection and their coupons aren’t excluded. I think they have $5 off $35, $10 off $75, and 5% off. Combined with SYW points, it can make a pretty good deal!

I love sales like this! Hopefully it works on video games. Off topic- Did anyone recieve a $20 gift card from visa checkout who didnt recieve the $20 best buy code? I got an email on 11/6 saying I would recieve a $20 visa gift card but i have not recieved anything yet.
I got the same email and still haven’t received one.
I emailed them on Sunday when the site was slow/down and I wasn’t able to get through — I explained I was disappointed and asked that they please send me a code. Then I followed up again via email on Wednesday because I didn’t get a reply. I received the code the following day. I would email them to follow up.
