I find it kind of rude to share your own referral link on someone else’s blog that has done all the work.

Collin addressed this concern yesterday on the other schoola post, and she said she didn’t mind. She addressed it because there was a mad fury of posts stating it was rude. She said she’s fine with it to end that never ending fued back n forth discussion. However when personal links are posted on unrelated posts the moderator may delete them.

She may have addressed it-regardless of her feelings towards it-it’s rude.

I actually totally agree with you, after the post yesterday I just gave up. I tried saying that too but no one cared. I figured if Collin said it was fine, no point in trying to argue anymore.

that doesn’t matter…someone is always going to put their two cents in regardless of whether or not they’re asked. 🙂

From what I’ve finally gathered. ( I wasn’t clear on the policy originally) Collin doesn’t mind if people post their links in the comments section as long as that’s what the post is about. If it’s a post about a deal that’s totally unrelated to the link the person is posting the moderator will delete it if they see it. We can all think is rude, but Collin sees it as a community sharing and getting deals together and its her site. So I figure hey, whatever she wishes I respect that. Personally I do not share my links in comments.
