  A 1 year old could play on the Thomas on the floor, but I think 1 is too little to use track.

  My 1 yr old Loves this she can totally ride this without assistance and we had it outside that went Down a hill! She has great balance tho

  I bought the other step 2 coaster for my 1 year old for Christmas this year. We were at an event where they had on and she LOVED it. As long as they are able to hold on then I don’t see any issues. My daughter was 16 months to be exact the first time she ride it.

   I think its too young for 1 year old. must have good balance and be able to hold on and stop the car.

   I bought the bed for $176 earned $45 cash reward . i know at walmart and toys r us is cheaper but with tax and shipping it ends up more expensive.

   If I don’t already have one, I would buy it. This is a great toy. We play with it at home and also bring it to birthday parties! Kids love it. I brought it for my child when he was three but wished I purchased it when he was younger for more “bang for the buck!” An enormous plus for my child who loves Thomas!
