These are very handy to have around but I have the spot bot that cleans stains automatically and It was amazing! It is a lot more expensive than this fantastic sale price but if it were to also be on the same sale, highly consider the upgrade. Also everyone in an apartment with carpet should have one – so an awesome gift for hard to buy for college kids or young adults!
Oh that much better huh? I’ve had this little green for about 5 years and it’s been very handy but doesn’t do stains like real stains without pretreat.
I like that we can just sit it down and push start and return when it is done. It works well. We clean stains immediately so we have not had a problem with anything set-in too badly. I use oxy clean in it too. It helps make our carpet shampoo stronger and work better.
yeah, actually this is the same to me. I always need to pretreat the carpet before stains cleaning with this spotbot.

Is it good for vomit? Lol. With 6 kids and 2 dogs I usually have to break out the heavy shampooer when things like that occur. (Definitely not fun in middle of the night sicknesses dragging up the heavy shampooer lol)
Oh Kelly I’ve cleaned up so many vomits with it lol…. Had a little one last year and my older one is 6 but sometimes they get sick and yes vomit too so once I take care of them I run for this little green thing to clean it up. I’ve got carpet in every room and this really is a life saver. Got mine last year on Black Friday at target thanks to Collin’s post. I definitely recommend this with kids & carpets 😉
YES it works on vomit. Not only on kid vomit but also dog vomit,lol. One of my dogs got car sick going to the vet in my car and threw up EVERYWHERE and spaghettios that my kids were so kind to give him on top of that, which I did not think would ever come up but this machine got it all up! I am on my second one only because I wore out my first one. I use it at least once a month on my couches with all my kids and animals I can not even imagine what they would look like without this machine. I am almost tempted to get another at this price to have as a back up. LOVE this machine!
I concur with the positive comments. Excellent buy! Have bought 2 at higher prices – second purchase because I gave my mother the 1st one. Works awesome!! BTW, I have kids & pets.

I got one of these at a garage sale for $1 it worked great( the owners no longer had pets and no children) so it was a steal for me!! It works great!!
Can I just use water to clean carpet? Is that work?

I got one last time it was this price and wasn’t as impressed as others have been. It doesn’t get our couch as clean as our big carpet cleaner w upholstery attachments. I also found this unit to leak :/
