Advice please. I bought my husband the steel pebble smart watch, originally $249 but price matched for $99. It has really good reviews on Amazon, and it is waterproof which is very important to my husband. But I am torn on maybe getting him this Apple Iwatch instead, he has an iPhone 6plus, and the being able to respond to texts would be cool! But it’s not waterproof and it’s more money. Also pebble says they are working on allowing microphone/response with iPhones, but who knows how long that might take – what do you think?
If waterproof is very important to your husband, I’d stick to the waterproof one.
My brother got the Apple Watch and is waterproof! He is in love with it.
I was comparing the two as well and I kept seeing that the Apple Watch is very delicate and the screen breaks easily, this deterred me from buying it even though everything technology I own is apple.
I own one as does my husband. I don’t feel like I need to be any different with it than I did with any other watch. It can be submerged in water etc. I even wear it during outdoor pick up games and sports, running.

I have first gen Pebble watch and I religiously used it until I was having screen issues. If I could find a Pebble Time for that cheap, is likely jump on it, but I’m asking for the Apple Watch this Christmas because I’m a total fanboy.
I had pebble watch 1st gen too for almost a year until last week it was starting to acting up so I returned it to best buy and got my money back since I bought a 2year warranty. I could have just replace it with the same one but decided to get my money and save it for an Apple Watch which is on my Christmas wishlist. Just waiting for a great deal. 😜
I own the 38mm stainless with sport strap. I’ve had it for a couple of months now. I was one of those who thought I had to protect my watch and bought a case for it. Bad idea! The case did more damage than good. It scratched up the stainless areas of my watch but my husband said it can be buffed out. Anyway, I love my watch. Can get calls, check email, return texts, and even pay for things (using Apple Pay). I also like not having to constantly check my phone to see if I missed a call or received a text, etc. The Pebble in my option doesn’t even compare. I’m sure Apple will be pushing out more software updates for the watch in the future so it can do more (except photo taking). It’s also a cool watch for a tech geek like myself. 🤓

I noticed target has a cool return policy around Christmas – if you buy something after 11/1 the 30 day return period (for electronics) starts on 12/26 (since they don’t open till Christmas )

Apple is on the list of exclusions for that coupon (along with Lego, Bose, Nintendo, PS4 & XBox consoles, vitamix, DLSR cameras and a few more.
I got the I watch on Wednesday before the Black Friday sale. Target charged my credit card then canceled my order. I called them two times (each time waited for about 40min) to speak to the supervisor. All I want is the same price with the 100 gift card. Still nothing I email customer services still nothing. Be careful just because they give u a order # does not mean you got the I watch 😭😡anyone know who I can take this issue to upper management ?

I got the Apple Watch Friday week on Wednesday with the gift card offer, I’m loving it so far . I also use the gift card to buy a camera that was 99$ So I got my bday gift any Xmas gift all in one week .

I bought my hubby the apple watch on Black Friday online I’m still waiting to get the 100$ target card that was supposed to be emailed to me after 4 hrs when I picked up the watch. I emailed them and there’s no response yet. 🙁
Call the 1800 number and let them know you haven’t got it. Cause it could be the smallest thing. For me it was .om not .com on my email yes you get a email back for your order but you have to put in where you want the gift card to go as well 🙂
If I buy this watch for hubby and he ends up not wanting it. What happens to the gift card if I have to return?
If you don’t return the full gift card with it they will deduct $100 off the return value from the watch. Your receipt will show you the return value price.

best buy just started to sell the apple watch for 100 dollars off. Someone I know just told me today. When I bought the watch from target, im pretty sure they didnt have this deal yet.
