I tried in vain to get a shot of one of my sweet girls in my Hip2Save shirt but just couldn’t get them to cooperate! I am a huge animal lover and because of this blog I have been able to afford to take care of my 2 wonderful dogs and several cats who would have been homeless otherwise. I have also fostered a number of cats. Veterinary care is so expensive and it is wonderful to know I can help animals in need without breaking the bank! Thank you for all you do!

Congrats! As a lifelong animal shelter volunteer who has also fostered, I applaud your efforts and hope more people see that by being a savvy shopper it’s possible to properly care for your animals without going broke and be able to donate to your local rescue/shelters/pet food bank they may have for low income pet guardians. One of my best pet food deals I learned about on here was when the Petco calendars went on sale for $3 yet were filled with tons of coupons for free products. What i didn’t use I donated or gave to others who I knew could use them. Maybe Collin will include a section on pet care — Banfield gives a free first wellness visit, and many local communities provide free vaccines and shelters often offer low-cost or free spay/neuter surgery. Love that I can buy high quality food at a reasonable price with coupons. Also, my local Petco has various corners where they put items 1/2 off, which is also a place to find great deals!
