Yesterday I placed an order using $15 kohls cash that was expiring yesterday. Today I get an email saying the item is no longer available. So now my kohls cash is worthless since it express yesterday. Anyone else have this happen? If I call them will they honor it? Frustrated …
I didn’t have this exact issue, but I did have an issue with a Kohl’s order recently. I experienced great customer service by sending emails rather than by phone. I would just email them and explain the issue.
Definitely email- it can be hit or miss, so push back if you don’t get your answer! I didn’t get kohl’s cash emailed to me and I didn’t realize it until after it expired. The first person told me to just place an order and then email back my order # and they would adjust for the $10 off. So I did and the next person basically said sorry, can’t do it. I went back again and then they did it.
I’ve always had great customer service with Kohls by phone. If you know what you want to order with your Kohls cash today — they will probably order it, apply the kohls cash and ship for free — they usually make it right. I’ve had two experiences where the item wasn’t right or I ordered the wrong size (my fault) and the sales were over by the time the item arrived. I’ve called and they have applied a coupon equivalent and shipped for free… definitely worth a call or email.
Exact same thing happened to me! It changed the date to expire today but it’s not letting me use it, it says expired. I contacted support and waiting to hear back.
If you contact support be sure to include your order number that was canceled and the 15 digit kohl’s cash number. I didn’t include the kohl’s cash number, as I assumed they could see it in my order. Should save you some back and forth.
Ugh same thing happened to me. I placed a store pickup order last night, and used $30 Kohls cash. This morning I got an email that the items are out of stock, yet they still show available for store pickup online. I’m calling this afternoon…
I’d definitely call instead of dealing with email support. I just finished my back and forth with this issue and it ended with him saying I had to email him AFTER placing an order and he would manually apply my kc. I don’t trust this at all. I may go ahead and call also, but I can’t do that while working.
And ask to speak with an American. Not being mean, but I have had Kohls call me 3 times this week regarding a screwed up order and when I call bsck they don’t understand what I’m saying. So I emailed them and they said to do that from now on.
You can use your kohls cash in stores till 10 days after its expiration. That what I have been told when I call kohls.com

No. I have used the $10 off $30 coupon with $20 in Kohls cash and spent nothing out of pocket (2 months ago). The $10 off $30 comes off first, then the Kohls cash. So you can have $30 worth of products, use your $10 off and $10 Kihls cash, and pay $10 OOP.
They take the KC off before the promo codes.
I have the same question! Say I spend $30, and I also have Kohl’s cash. Do they take the $10 off $30 first, and THEN Kohl’s cash?? Or, does Kohls cash get taken off first, and then leave me with a $20 total, and ineligible for the $10/30 promo?
The $10 off $30 comes off first then Kohls cash. I do it pretty much every time there is a $10 off $30. Kohls cash comes off 2nd after the coupon. So if you have $30 worth of merch. and have $20 in Kohls cash you will have $0.00 OOP.
Do you mean in store? In my experience, and also stated in the terms, online they do the kohl’s cash first before anything else.
I went this morning. Had no issues using the $10 coupon with kohls cash and yes rewards and my original subtotal was below 40. Additionally, the cashier scanned the coupon last.

If you have a discover card, there is a 10 off 30 at Kohls, on Discover go to rewards and current deals, you have to add it and then on Discover get the number and pin, and add it to your account at Kohls

If you have a Discover Card, go to Discover Deals and they have a $10 off $30 code available. I was able to combine the Discover Deals code with the Kohl’s GIFTS10 code ($10 off $30) and $10 Kohls cash. In the end I got $30 off a $32 purchase! A nearly free toy for my son!! 🙂

If you sign up for Kohl’s text message alerts, they immediately send you a code for 15% off of your online purchase. This stacks with the $10 off $30 after the dollar off coupon is applied. I used Pick Up In Store to score a nice deal on a dress shirt and socks for my husband.

Okay, i’m giving Kohl’s one last chance. I placed an order for the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker and a hand towel. Yes, one hand towel – LOL Including tax, my total came out to be $6.44. I used the $10 off $30, 20% off HURRY code, $10 off gift promotional code (came in the mail yesterday) and a $5 gift code (their consolation for canceling my order using the $10 off $10 email code from a few weeks ago). I also saved on the shipping, because my mom works in the same shopping center as a Kohl’s location. Hopefully, my order goes through. Ever since I first saw the ad, for the sandwich maker, I have wanted one. But, the price has given me pause. Getting one, for $6.44, would be awesome.
