Same here! I took advantage of the curtains deal that Colin posted. They sent me the wrong color and size, all that I have to go through to return them is ridiculous! Their customer service was horrible!
Their customer service is appalling lately. Kohl’s literally erased my $60 in Kohl’s cash when I tried to redeem it in an online order the other day. When I hit submit on the order, an error message came up. I went back and tried to submit the order again (using the Kohl’s cash) and it was at $0.00. After hours on the phone with various reps and supervisors, the result is that I have “virtual” Kohl’s cash- I have to literally CALL Kohl’s and wait to speak to a rep and give them my case # and have them apply the $60 in Kohl’s cash to whatever I’m trying to purchase. This means if I’m standing in the store trying to make a purchase and want to use my Kohl’s cash, I’m to pull out my phone in line and go through this process in order to redeem my Kohl’s cash. Kohl’s looked at my account, told me they see the system error that occurred and that my Kohl’s cash was erased even though the order was not submitted, admitted it is the system’s error, but THIS is the best solution they will offer me. They insist they are unable to resubmit/reissue Kohl’s cash, and also refused to credit my account by $60 instead (which I did not think was unreasonable considering the issue). What happens if I have a return on an item I use this “Kohl’s cash” on? Who even knows?! How is it even traceable? I have no “Kohl’s cash” number to see/track/trace, just their word and something noted in my account that I am unable to access. They have one very dissatisfied customer now. Their slogan posted throughout their store is that they say “YES!” but all I’m hearing in the event of their error is “NO!” and I am instead being asked to jump through hoops due to a system error out of my control. I have shopped at Kohl’s for years and had few issues, but this has really put them in a very poor light to me now.
I have better results chatting with a representative. It’s quicker too.

Yep. Cancelled my order yesterday that I used my kohls cash on and they only offered me a $5 credit not the $15 kohls cash I spent. So frustrated.
Yep. It’s happened to me so many times this past year I consider it the new norm. It is annoying because when you use rewards or kohls cash you don’t get it back….at least I didn’t. This never used to happen at kohls but yes, all.the.time now.

Kohls is like Sears, Kmart, zulilly and Walmart as far as quality goes. You really just have to know the brand you are buying because a lot of their products aren’t great quality. I hardly ever stray out of what I know. I’ve never had issues with cancelled orders or lost bucks and I’m sure I would be frustrated if I did. I called last week because they never sent me $10 in Kohls cash and he automatically sent a new code with $15! So utilize that customer service if you aren’t already. I got some great deals on Melissa and Doug tonight with these codes! Thanks Collin!

Might be a good idea to add a trade forum/section to H2S at some point, where people can trade/contribute codes & cards (1 with a disclaimer, of course). It seems the posters here are always looking to trade codes, looks like it’s just how this site/app has evolved.
I have never tried to trade here but agree this would be a great feature since I’ve seen so much of it occurring recently. It would separate the posts and those who are looking to read the general comments wouldn’t have to sort through them. No offense to anyone, I totally get the trading. 🙂
