I tried to do this in the store on sunday, even though they were signs everywhere it didn’t work. I didn’t get my points. After one half an hour on the phone with customer service for shop your way with this sears associate, they finally said that they couldn’t do it. There was also a TV with 100% back in points with this same deal.

I have had problems in the past receiving points when I used points to pay. I called
and was told that if I used points to pay I wouldn’t receive points. I now won’t use any points to pay and I haven’t had any problems. Hope this helps!
Is there a lap top charger for a car? Were taking a road tri and thought about putting the kids Frozen digital movie on on of the kids tablets they are getting for Christmas but it seems the code has been lost 🙁 so Dh said the next best thing is to take a lap top but not sure how long the battery would last and out road trip is going to be 19 hours and I’m sure we will stop once and stay but for the road I would love to hopefully charge or keep power to it! Not really looking into buying a portable dvd player unless I can find one almost free!! LOL
get yourself an inverter – it plugs into the cigarette lighter in your car (or that’s what they used to be called) and then it has regular outlets on it that you can plug in your laptop to — I used to have one in my work vehicle to run my laptop and it was great
you can find them for under $30 too – even at Kmart
The last minivan we rented for vacation had usb ports in the front and back seats. We were able to charge all the devices while on the road (12+ hr drive), and that was so nice with an active 2 year old and a teen! If your renting a car, it can’t hurt to ask:)
also, check your Disney Movie Rewards account – if you ever entered the code it should be there still
When I try to use points it deducts the points I will earn. So apparently if you use points you wont get the full amount of points back.
Yes. Exactly it’s 100% back in points. So if you pay $12.99 you’ll get that amount. If you were to use some points and only pay $8.99, well 100% back would be $8.99 in points.
Does anyone know what happens to points if you use them to buy something and then return the product? Do you get the points back??
If it was surprise points, you will just lose them. I’m not sure about other points, but I think you get other points back
I think they were surprise points. That’s a bummer. They told me in store they would go back into my account but I didn’t count on it. 🙂 associates at my store never seem to know what is going on.

I spend them on necessities … Look for sales on toilet paper, cleansers, etc. This way I don’t feel like I wasted money. I spent it on things I need plus I get the free fun electronic items I always wish I had (extra phone charger) … Plus Kmart bags it all and has it waiting. It’s like shop from home for free! Love walking in and picking up a huge stockpile of TP 🙂
I got a minion play doh set on sale for $10 and had $3 in surprise points on a $10 toy purchase, so I only had to use $7 worth of points with free in store pick up
Buy something you’d never spend the money on otherwise. Maybe a nice set of pans, bras or something like that 🙂

Sears/Kmart is on my **** List!😡 I got an order from them that was missing 2 items, even all 3 items were listed & marked as being packed on the packing slip. I called them & was on the phone for over an hour & still have no resolution. Their “solution” was that they’re going to do an internal investigation that will take 7-10 days! So not only will they not refund me before then, but now I don’t & won’t have 2 Christmas presents! Any other company, like Amazon, Kohls, etc would’ve apologized & immediately resent the missing items.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! The woman was obviously reading from a script because everything I said she’d say “well let’s just put in a trace.” Then when I said she was not answering my questions (I asked if I’d get points & money paid back & wanted to make sure it wouldn’t affect other orders I placed after this one where I used points I earned from this order) she insisted that yes she answered my question. I politely said “no I’m sorry, you haven’t. All you’ve said is lets start a trace.” And she just said “yes that answers your question.”
I don’t know if some of it was language barrier issues, or what but my time is precious & she wasted it.
Oh & they also refused to let me just reorder them at the price I paid, so I’d “hopefully” have them in time. They said I was welcome to reorder…at full price! Um no!
Guess now I get to cross my fingers that it either mysteriously shows up or that they quickly finish their investigation & I get my money back soon. Very bad experience overall. I would say shop with absolute caution with Sears/Kmart because they don’t seem to care about their customers at all.
Agreed… Can’t think of any other place I’ve had as many issues with. Like receiving a damaged item only to get a couple of dollars for compensation (after several attempts of contacting them), or being unable to cancel minutes after ordering, in which case they would not pay for shipping back. Numerous problems with points… I’ll pass on these offers.
They are ridiculous. I agree with the script. I will only order to store from now on and make sure it is something I have no intentions of returning. Like toilet paper! 😂
Ok, what am I doing wrong here? I’ve tried each of the items above and none of them are showing 100% back in points for me. I’m logged into my ShopYourWay account, have gone all the way to the checkout, and it still isn’t showing up. Did the points show up immediately for everyone else?
online I didn’t see that you could get for 100% back …I went into the store sign posted, I bought , and no points on receipt. I took picture of sign and will fight this with syw after 24 hrs has passed as the store lady suggested
