Be very careful. I ordered staples cards earlier this week and ended up getting a refund. The were cut poorly and the edges were jagged. The associate told me after trying to fix it that their cutting machine wouldn’t get it cleaner than that. It was no good.

Agreed! I did the 50 cards for $9.99 that Collin posted about a few weeks ago. We had just gotten our family pictures back. I was SO excited to get a deal on Christmas cards. They look SO BLURRY! Ugh. My husband says they aren’t bad but I don’t like them. Too timid to ask for a refund. I’m just sending them out with one print from the family pics (crystal clear 3×5 print from ArtsCow.com) to make up for the crappy card.
Agree. The first set of cards were cut poorly and the Merry Christmas template was off center. I complained and the had me pick a new card. That card looked better and was supposed to be 5×7 but instead was cut wrong ~4.5×6.25. Third set coloring was totally off. I gave up and took what they gave me. I ended up with 150 for $10 but I really wish I spent more money for better quality cards.
I did this deal earlier this week. I have also done this deal the last two Christmases. Have been happy with the quality each time.

This is also my second year ordering. Different staples than last year. I love them. They are better quality than any I have received in the mail from other people this year! And FAST. Is also made my return label (no groupon). Seriously try them out!
This was the first time I used Staples (through the Groupon offer) for my Christmas cards and like most others- I also received a quality card, quick turn around and a lot of compliments. The ones from cardstore.com are still my favorite but the pricing was cheaper through Staples so I decided to try them out this year.
Did the voucher say anything specific to holiday cards? Would it work on non-holiday cards?

After a bad experience with Minted, I ended up doing this deal last week. The quality was surprisingly great, very happy with Staples.

I did the Groupon deal for the Staples Signature cards a few weeks ago. These are the ones that are mailed to you and are a bit more expensive. I was very impressed with the quality of the Signature cards- not sure how they compare to the same-day in-store pickup cards… But I liked the Signature cards better than Shutterfly cards. So I’d give Staples two thumbs up !! 👍👍

Anyone having trouble redeeming their code from Groupon? I am having issues and it says my cart doesn’t match the criteria for the promo.

Hey I had some issues with that as well. It’s not very clearly stated but you need to make sure they are 5×7 cards and the staples rep told me they needed to be double sided. Mine weren’t and ended up working fine after I got the right size. I was frustrated with the website and the customer service so hope this helps! Cards are beautiful though! Phew.
Also my second year using staples xmas cards. Last year I had their free 25 cards coupon from black Friday, and I was very impressed with their quality! So I ended up doing the groupon deal this year. Cards came out great!

We have done this groupon last two years, they are great! Two sided with some really fantastic choices. I have used all the online stores and these are just as good if not better for a great price!!
This was my first time using Staples and the quality was not good at all. I had them reprinted and they still looked bad 🙁 embarrassed to send them out. Will stick with Sams club or Shutterfly in the future.
Darn I just got mine done at walmart two days ago after waiting around & not finding a good deal. I used staples last year & was really happy with them. They were better quality than walmart.
This may be a dumb question, but do the cards from Staples come with envelopes?
Yes, they do. We did the Black Friday deal & was so impressed! I usually only order shutter fly, but couldn’t pass up the deal they had doe Black Friday.
Is this for the 5×7 flat or the 5×7 single sided?
I was able to use it on a double sided card.
I ordered them last year and loved them. But this year am VERY disappointed in the quality. But it really is too late to do anything different; nothing else would get shipped to me fast enough for me to get them in the mail in time, especially at that price point. One thing I noticed was that the large photo on the front looked blurry, but the small photo on the back looked great–so basically where Shutterfly would have given me a warning (when they tell you the resolution might not be high enough, for example, for the printing to look good), Staples apparently doesn’t do that, or maybe their machine just doesn’t print well enough for that. If you do this deal, I would absolutely recommend choosing a design that uses several small photos instead of one large one, unless you have very high-resolution professional photos (maybe even IF you do). Better safe than sorry, this late in the game. Anyhow, it was disappointing but lesson learned.

This is my second year using Staples from the groupon, and I’ve been very pleased both times.
I’m so frustrated with Staples! I’m behind on getting my cards out so I took a picture of the picture I got of my kids sitting on Santa’s lap. The store won’t print my cards unless I have written permission forwarded to them from the photographer to use the photo. Really? Vistaprint wouldn’t care. CVS Photo wouldn’t care. Shutterfly wouldn’t care. Now I have to reorder the cards using a different photo which is just going to delay everything more. Grrr…. I won’t be doing this deal again, that’s for sure!
I’d call Staples before ordering to make sure they have envelopes. My store called to say my order was ready, but they ran out of envelopes and will not get any until next week…maybe. “If that isn’t a problem, come pick them up.” You need envelopes to send cards. Also, because it is a groupon deal no comp envelopes from the store or discounts. Haha. Oh well… I’m interested to see how they turned out.

Im having so many issues finding designs and redeeming my groupon i know its probably user errors.
🙁 i cant find any designs for 14.99 that are 5×7 i have made 4 different cards and keep getting error message when checking out. anyone know the name of actual designs that worked so i can filter and make mine….

I was able to use it on cards that were $24.99. The design I used was under the Christian holiday cards and 3 photos. It was a light blue one, 2nd one that came up. Good luck.
