Yes, they have in the past dropped to 25¢ per box (during back to school time), but I personally think 50¢ a box is a great price this time of year. 🙂
Agreed! I think this price was the lowest I saw after back to school too. My daughters teacher just asked the parents to replenish their supply too 🙂
I think they only dropped down to .50 a box at walmart this year at bts time.
They didn’t drop that low at BTS time this year :/ It was about 50 cents if I remember correctly.

Thank you. I was actually looking for these for my kids age 3 and 5 for their stockings and was appalled at the prices in the store. Hip2Save has spoiled me. I know how cheap I can get these BTS, so I just refuse to pay full price other times of the year. I’ll probably be kicking myself next week when I’m standing in Walmart’s crazy long Site to Store line, but for now, I’m pumped!

As long as the price comes up when you actually scan the item with the Walmart app (they had a good deal on big boxes of colored pencils once but scanning them only brought up regular prices so I had to do Walmart pick up). Also Target’s policy is one price match per identical item per person.
You can print the walmart page out and take it to the store and they should price match it.
I cannot even do instore pickup because it shows all stores around me are out of stock. I would like to get more than one pack. Is there any store that will price match and let me get 10 packs? Thanks!

For Christmas I wrapped a $1 bill around each crayon and gave with a coloring book to my nieces ages 19, 17, 14 and 12. I think they will get a kick out of it and it’s another unique way to give a money gift!
