Yankee Candle: Small Jar Candles

Through tomorrow, December 17th, save at your local Yankee Candle store with these high-value coupons: $20 off a $45 purchase or $50 off a $100 purchase. These coupons make for some AWESOME deals when paired with the 3/$10 Small Jar Candle Sale!

NOTE FROM COLLIN: I was able to easily use the coupon on the 3/$10 candle sale at my store. The cashier scanned without hesitation and the amount was automatically deducted after she scanned the barcode on my phone. The coupon didn’t beep and she didn’t have to push it through. Hopefully many of you have a successful trip like I did.

    In store only?

    • Luvadeal

      coupons say in store only

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, the coupons are valid in-store only.

  2. trudibeth77

I ordered online with the code Collin posted yesterday. Had to pay $5.99 shipping, but still a great deal with $50 off $100.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome!

    • Stephanie

      Is that coupon still valid?

  3. m

    this is amazing!~

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😀

  4. Holly

I’m having a half asleep moment here, but when it ways through tomorrow, that means I can go in store tomorrow right? Today isn’t the last day. (sorry home with a newborn, a sick toddler, and a very hyper 5 year old makes understanding this impossible somehow 🙂

    • Donna

      Oh you poor thing! 🙁

    • Kate

I think tomorrow will be last day

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes. This runs tomorrow as well. Hoping you get some rest Holly!

  5. RH

Glad I was able to snag this online yesterday! 🙂 Don’t live near a store!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh perfect!

  6. bridget

Do you have to print it or can they scan on your phone?

    • Molly

I’ve used my phone there without issue!

      • bridget

        Thanks

  7. Megan

Do the smaller ones carry a fragrance (“throw”) as well as the larger candles? Or are they better used in a smaller room? Sorry Collin.. I asked this on the Periscope earlier!

    • Erin

I don’t think they throw all that well in large spaces, though it may have just been the fragrances I have. I paid about a buck for them when the various $10 off coupons came out, and I think that’s about what they are worth (and I’m a big Yankee Candle fan–just bought four large jars today and planning to pick up a couple more tomorrow!). For $1, I think they are fine in order to try out new scents, but I’d never purchase them in place of the larger candles. HTH!

      • Megan

Thank you! 🙂 I ended up splitting the 15 with my mom & I am trying out a bunch of new scents! I’ve recently become addicted to Bath & Body Works 3-wick candles too… so my collection is just expanding!

  8. Lexi

Does anyone know if Bed, Bath, & Beyond has this deal going on??

    • DJ glader

Bed bath does not have the 3/$10

  9. krystal

The coupon says “cannot be combined with other specials, discounts, sales… Does the $3 for 10 count as a sale?

    • Sofia

No it cannot be used on sale promotions like the 3 for $10

  10. michele

Has anyone actually tried this in store yet?

    • Angie Sax

Yes I tried in store. Didn’t work for me. Coupon says not good on clearance, sale, etc. items. Ended up buying online and the coupon code worked for me. 31 candles for $59.22.

      • Rebecca Perez

        Good Evening All,

If you don’t mind me asking, what code did you all use online to get the $20 off $45 or $50 off $100? Thank you in advance.

    • Amanda

Yes, I did it yesterday. I pulled the coupon up from my phone. Paid 1.67 per candle. They also put another coupon in my bag for a free medium candle with any purchase:)

  11. Sandra

Oh a while can someone help me how to do it

  12. I Love Deals

What coupon code did you use online today that worked??? I would love to be able to get this deal online I don’t live anywhere close to a store. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    • Angie

GLOW8 but maybe it was only good yesterday. I’m not sure. Also, in my store, the limit is 15.

      • Deanna

        GLOW8 expired. 🙁

  13. Allie

I just left the store. The coupon was not good on the 3/10 candles since it is a special promotion.

    • Amy

I just shopped at the candle store in Salt lake. They applied the coupon to the small candles that are priced 3 for 10 without even a question .

    • Jen C

I used it in a store in Kansas City. They said the coupon can be used since it weasel an “in-store special”. $165 w/tax for $32 w/tax.

If someone says you can’t use it, ask for a manager. The first lady I talked to said no, but she asked the manager who said yes.

  14. kelley

i used the coupon on the 3 for $10 candles. no problems

  15. Gwen

Worked for me in Southlake TX. I bought 30 and used the $50 off $100. Thanks for the deal. These make great co worker gifts.

  16. michele

Just got back from purchasing 30 candles …the 50 off 100 worked..30 candles for $52… thanks for the great deal!!!.makes a great gift for a teacher..add some ribbon and a tag

  17. Jackie

I was able to use on small candles and clearance. Both coupons worked😀

  18. Andrea

Tried to use offer plus deal in store and clerk would not take the coupon with the 3 for 10…..said she cannot do both and i missed our online….boo hoo

  19. Christen

I can use this coupon at target? It says “at participating retail stores” or something along those lines!

  20. Michele

Coupon is only valid at Yankee Candle stores not any other retailer that carries the brand.
I’m torn on if I should try to buy in store, from the helpful comments it looks like it depends on if the clerk in your local store decides to accept the coupon or not. Coupon does clearly say not valid on sale items….Ugh! Long way to go to get denied. Maybe I will just try….. Wish me luck!

  21. Caryn

Good luck Michele – feeling the same but mine is close by just hate dragging the kids out for nothing

  22. Warford Vera

My store stated that they too will not allow me to combine the small jar candles (given they are onsale) with the coupon due to the fine print…darn…

  23. Caryn

I called and my store (Dartmouth MA) said no so could not use the coupon on the sale 👎

  24. cabasquinmirna

they dont want to take the coupon at the store 🙁

  25. VRae

My store said they aren’t participating in the 3 for $10. 🙁

  26. Elisa

I went to the Yankee Candle store, showed the manager that I had a coupon, picked out 15 candles. THEN he tells me that because they are sale items, I couldn’t use the coupon. ;-( Walked out with zero candles.

  27. Melissa R

My store didn’t even have them on sale, but honored the sale price and took the coupon! However, after buying 15 candles, I realized that I really only had to buy 14 to spend $45…wonder why Collin said to buy 15?

    • mamasweetpea08

because to get the sale price, one needs to purchase in groups of 3 as the promo is 3 for $10. If you purchase 1, then it is $10.99, I had asked the sales clerk about this since I wanted to check and verify prices if I were to purchase 4 for instance. They will not give it for $3.33

  28. mamasweetpea08

there’s also a rewards program for yankee candle for those who don’t know. the sales assoc made sure to tell me to register within 24 hours and register my receipt to get credit for the purchase. It may not show up right away as their system takes 48 hours to credit points for purchases. Here’s my referral link to sign up for the program https://ptab.it/5UKiI

    • mamasweetpea08

you get 3000 points to start, and you receive $5 giftcard after 10,000 points. They seem to accumulate fairly fast as I just signed up. Get points for following them on various media, get points every time you check in, get points on purchases, etc

    • Megan

      Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  29. Iza

Just tried to use the coupon online and is says it is invalid… 🙁

  30. Kim J

Thanks so much! I had no problem using the coupon. I asked the sales lady, first, if I could use it and she said as long as the total is greater than $45 (which was $50 buying 15 candles)/ then it was fine. Using 10 candles for coworkers!
