I don’t think I would be able to use the easy rebate because it states the following: Promotion: Get a $35 Visa (R) Prepaid Card on InfoGuard 8 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder with Pull out bin (SKU 1417714) at Staples.com. The SKU #’s are different. Will I be able to get a rebate even though it is a different SKU #? Thanks in advance.
I bought this shredder in a $9.99+tax deal ($35 paid, and $25 rebate)
And I have used it for several months, it wasn’t a good shredder, it will stop working after less than 15 mins, and it could not shred more than 10 pages (usually will be less than 10 pgs) , the shredder inside will stuff. So, be careful to use it.
Did anyone get a message that says “Your eligible rebates are still being determined” when trying to fill out the online rebate? I purchased this item yesterday morning and haven’t been able to fill out the rebate form 🙁

Katie, I checked the status online on Dec. 29 and it said “all required products were not submitted.” I resubmitted the rebate online that day and am waiting for the status to change.
I filled out the form online and today I got a postcard saying all required products were not submitted. I hate rebates.
I kept of following up with Staples. They sent me an email saying that the promo had some updates with caused for the rebate submitting to be invalid & that they resubmitted the correct rebate for me & they did give me a new tracking number which says up to this day that my rebate submission is valid. As far as when I will receive my rebate, they all kept of giving me different answers.

I used the Staples web chat function and she re-submitted it and said I’d get my rebate in a few weeks.
Got a postcard last week and an email today stating “We’re sorry, but we couldn’t match up the Easy Rebates℠ information you provided with a current rebate offer.” It appears that the shredder I purchased through your link for $34.99 was sku 1417717 and the 12/20-12/22 rebate was for sku 1417714. I do not qualify for the rebate. The rebate for sku 1417717 ended on 12/19. Did anyone else have this problem? Looks like I’ll be returning this. Good thing I still haven’t opened it. I was waiting on my rebate.
I got that postcard, too. I had a web chat with a Staples customer service rep. The rep fixed the issue and resubmitted the rebate. Now when I check my status online it says: “Your rebate is valid. Please allow up to 30 days to receive your rebate.”
