*Pick your restaurant and the appropriate certificate amount and then click add to cart; be sure to read the restaurant’s special instructions before purchasing the certificate; many restaurants require that you make a minimum purchase, many add 18% gratuity prior to the certificate being applied, some may state valid for food or dinner only, and some may restrict the days that the certificate can be used (i.e. Monday-Friday only).

    So, it looks like how these work is for most places, you need to spend double the amount of the gift certificate. So you need to pay half cash. Right?

      Yes, that’s right. They also automatically include 18% gratuity most places. So, it’s more like paying for a coupon.

    Yup. You have to pay the gratuity so it isn’t worth it.

      I stopped buying these after getting dirty looks from cashiers from trying to use a certificate. I once was denied redemption of one because they said they did not sign up to be on the website. Weird.
