Did this for maternity clothes a few months ago and it worked out great!!! So much cheaper and a great selection compared to local stores ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Thanks for sharing Jen!

I wish they had more coupons for existing customers!

    • Cassandra

I was just thinking the same thing Jessica! I hate how they never have coupons for existing customers. ;/

      • Jessica S

It really stinks, I like shopping there but when I know there are coupon codes I can’t use I don’t feel like I am getting a good deal anymore.

        • Alikia29

It always offers me 10% codes and similar

          • Sporksoma

That’s more than I’m offered. All my coupon codes are for new members only. They keep telling me I should make my first purchase, but I’ve used thredup for years. I’m hardly a new customer.

          • Cassandra

Me too, but shipping kills it for me. I agree they’re prices are lower than stores but not enough for the shopping charges.

  4. Jessica

Are you able to stack codes? I’m not seeing an option I still have my $20 and I wanted to use the 40% on top of it?

    • Sam

Good question. Also, is it free shipping? Or can the $20 credit count toward shipping?

      • Amanda

Free shipping ended last week. No, the $20 can’t be applied toward shipping.

      • Jessica

I wish there was free shipping.. My total was like $2 and it’s just annoying having to pay more for shipping then my order :/

    • Jen N

If you download the app, it was popping up coupons almost daily earlier this month.

I get so frustrated at offers that are for new members only. Thredup is really bad about that. What about existing customers? I haven’t ordered from thredup for…. Well, at least six months, possibly a year, because, while their prices are less than full price, they’re still not as good as I can get from a thrift store, or from other sites during big markdowns with coupon codes that aren’t “new members only.” Schoola is a good site to shop on because they always have fabulous sales for all members. I haven’t gotten a deal from thredup that has applied to me since signing up for them years ago when they still had the program where you had to submit a box of clothes if you wanted to order one, but I sure get their emails telling me that I can use code X to make my first purchase….

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn. Sorry to hear that. Thanks so much for your feedback. I appreciate it.

Just a heads up.. I don’t recommend selling on this site. I sent in a bag full of contemporary designer clothing and they didn’t accept a single item. Everything was gently used without holes or stains. Beware!

    • jenn

I agree. Did you make sure to check that the brands you were sending they actually accept? Even having done that, i got literally pennies compared to what they then sold them for.

    • jenn

… And they hardly accepted anything i sent in, despite being in their accepted brands list.

I placed my first order in early Nov. All items said they were in excellent condition. The sweater i got had threads/stitching coming undone, jacket had an awful sticky zipper and one pair of jeans had a hole. I don’t think their quality control is up to par. I find better used items at my local thrift shop and I’m not stuck paying shipping. I will not use the service again.

    • Tia

Ordered 2 regular women’s shirts with the last promo and when delivered, they were maternity. Nowhere was that noted. I ordered my daughter a Gap zip up sweatshirt and it was a full fledged winter coat. We live in Miami. All items went to the donate box. I’ll stick with the regular thrift store.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn. Sorry to hear about that Julie. ๐Ÿ™

    Ddxvtk0 thredup 10% off

  12. Angela

I agree with Miranda ~ beware!! I sent in a huge selection of clothes ~ followed there instructions to a “T” ~ there were a few items that were brand new, with tags~ took ages to hear from them and when I did they offered me $11 ~ then to add insult to injury I never was able to collect the $11~ ๐Ÿ˜ก

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing Angela. That does sound frustrating. Were you able to contact them for your $11?

I’m crazy for this site. I get tons of kids clothes. I especially love the little boys Patagonia and REI coats and snowsuits. I usually wait around for a text offer for 10-20% off. It seems like they send them every couple of days or so. Would love it if someone used by link.
