You can always make your iPhone a wifi hotspot and log on to that with your iPad to avoid the additional line charge.

Yes!! It’s just capable of service but you don’t have to add it. They usually cost more though if they are capable of service. HTH

I got one in store, had it activated with Verizon, gave me additional $100 off. Separate phone number for it and it’s linked to our data plan. Plus the associate that helped me with it, looked at our current data plan and got me switched, gaining more GB but less $. we were just on an old data plan. I love this site!
