    What is google chromecast?

It’s awesome, highly recommend. You can stream content from your phone or any compatible device from your phone to your TV. So you don’t have to strain on watching a small video from your phone Especially if you’re around a group of people. Also anyone who downloads the chtomecast app (free) can stream their content onto your TV as well. Essentially you can use your phone as a remote.

That is a weird looking chromecast. The one I have is the $20 one called Chromecast stream media player. I read the description and both do the same exact thing So I don’t understand why this one is pricier? They both use hdmi to plug into your TV so you’re better off buying the $20 one.

This is the newer style. I have the old style and the new style. The newer one just kinda hangs there so its kinda odd but works the same as my old one.

    Is this like Apple TV?

Yes, same concept. It is a device used to stream content 🙂

Thank you so much for posting this! I was still looking for a gift for my sister and this was perfect. I got one for myself too. I already have a roku 3, but I love how I can stream from my phone or laptop with the Chromecast.
