I have this couch in the red…purchased it 3 years ago and it has held up VERY well (Keep in mind i don’t have any kids or pets though!) I paid around $700 for it too FYI
We have it in red too, and have 3 boys and a st. bernard and this couch has held up amazingly well.
Are these pillows fix a removable
The seat cushions are removable, the back cushions are not.
Can you tell me what material it’s made of? I tried to look on the site and couldn’t find an answer, thanks 🙂

Are these pillows removable or fixed?
The seat cushions are removable and you can put the covers in the washing machine, but the back cushions are fixed and you can’t remove the covers.
I don’t have the sectional but I have the Ashley Darcy sofa. The back pillows aren’t removeable. As far a the cushion covers while I’m sure it isn’t recommended I have taken them off several times and washed them and they still look great.
I have a question,
I can NOT find the measurements on this sofa, would you be willing to share? I’d hate to order and it not fit 🙁

Is it actually not for veterans? We tried but it said my husband didn’t qualify.
My husband qualified and he is a veteran.
Well my husband is a disabled veteran so maybe that’s why he qualifies.
yeah my fiance is a disabled vet as well and he didn’t qualify..darn! at least we tried!
My father is a disabled veteran, and he qualified. We just purchased one.
The exchange is for active, reserve, and retired. I’m a vet too. Maybe ask a friend that’s still in to get it for you. I’m thinking about it and would have my brother in law or sister ( dependent) order for me.
You cannot have friends order for you. While not likely, your friend could get into trouble for purchasing items that are not for their own use or a gift. Please don’t abuse one of the perks of being a military member–find a deal on a different couch.
The service member and dependent can lose their privileges to shop at the Exchange if they are caught buying for or selling items purchased at the Exchange.
You have to be a valid military ID card holder to order from AAFES.
My daughter and her coast guard boyfriend were in search of a couch for their first home. Perfect price for a starter….. Cheaper than big lots and no tax and free shipping. Thanks Colin for all you do!

Yes, to shop at the exchange you have to either be active duty, or fully retired from the military…20+yrs or service.
Thanks for clarifying, our family members are only honorably discharged, not fully retired so don’t qualify. So glad for those that can be blessed by this though!
You can also get it if you are a medically retired/disabled vet or a Medal of Honor recipient – technically if you have a valid military ID, you have Commissary/Exchange privileges.

Yay!! I just texted my sister and she got one! I’m so excited for her she just moved from Washington to Idaho and this will look great in her new house. I feel like this website and deal should still be offered to out Veterans as well. For they did put in their time and served too.
Hi, not sure what you meant, but if you have exchange privileges then you should be able to get this deal. Collin’s site is available to all and the Military site can be used if you have military privileges. Vets included my hubby did his 20+years my son is active and my other son was wounded he is out as a disabled vet.
I’m guessing she meant all that served. I guess I generally think that those who retired refer to themselves as either retired or retired vet and not just a vet.
I served almost seven years and I’m considered a Veteran just not a Retired Veteran.😊 That’s all that she meant. Whether you serve two or twenty-two if you served honorably then it should count. Not everyone can or is willing to serve.

Try ordering it in the store with a picture of the deal. The store is supposed to price match the deal. If they give you a hard time, ask for a manager. If that doesn’t work, put in an ICE complaint. I used to be a manager for AAFES and general managers have to respond to every complaint.
Just tried this. They just offered me a computer to order it myself because the AAFES at Fort Bliss doesn’t get furniture in store.
