Collin! I’m very impressed with the glasses I got for $8. I ordered them for my brother for a backup pair. I could easily see him wearing these daily! These look exactly like a high end pair that I got at a local vision center for $75. You just can’t beat this price.

(Thanks, Jennifer!)

Do you know when this deal ends?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It does not list and end date as I click through.

  2. Heather C.

I ordered 2 different $8 pairs last month when this deal was posted. I havent taken one of the pairs off since! I LOVE them! They look like the one in the first picture.

    • Andrea

Do you know what the model number is on that pair?

      • Heather C.

The number on the inside of my glasses frames is T R 7627. There are no spaces

      • Heather C.

I dont see the exact pair i ordered before but the G4U G-9032 looks similar. Mine are tortoise, but those are super cute in purple!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for such awesome feedback! So happy to hear how much you like them!

  3. jauchci

The link never loads for me 🙁 This would be perfect as I was just told I might need reading glasses if I want them.

    • K

The dollar tree has reading glasses. I’ve heard they’re pretty good quality. Then if you lose them you’re only out a buck!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am still finding the links to work for me as i click through. Are you on a mobile device or are you able to try it in a different browser? Hope that helps!

  4. Laura

I just got mine about an hour ago and I love them!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome Laura! Thanks for sharing!

  5. ashley

I did this deal last month, and I am very pleased. I normally wear contacts, but I like to have a few backup pairs of glasses, and I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg. I’ve actually been wearing mine daily since I got them!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! Glad to hear it Ashley!

Did all of you enter your PD measurements when ordering? Mine are from a doctors office and they are in the 30’s and the PD measurements on here start in the 50’s??

    • Kathy

ask them in the chat. They were super helpful with me.

    • Heather

You can measure the PD yourself, your doctors might be a misprint? Just hold on ruler at your eyebrow level and using the cm side, measure how far one pupil is to the other. If it’s 6 cm then it would be 60! Hope this helps.

      • Lauren

Was just sitting here trying to figure that out and just decided to wing it on the pd and you have the exact same one as me, so now I don’t have to! 60 it is, thanks! And thanks hip team, my five year old glasses have one too many scratches and it was time for a change!

    • Karen

Sometimes they list them as “single PD” or “double PD”, so yours might be 60 for double, 30 for single… I’d go with a PD of 60.

    • Tina Bean

You can add those two PDs together. I have scrips from two different doctors and one has left and right PDs (31 and 33) and the other has a single PD measurement of 64. One method measures the distance between your pupils, the other measures from each pupil to your “midline,” but I’ve never had an issue ordering with either. HTH!! 🙂

    • D

Figured it out. It’s dual PD. Duh

  7. Jacqueline

Wow! Thanks! I just ordered an extra pair for my daughter!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome!

Do they ever have a deal like this on kids’ glasses?

  10. Christie5264

Excellent customer service!!! I ordered when Collin posted a few weeks ago and was sent the wrong pair. I called them and they are sending me another pair…no hassles! 😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing! Good to know!

Has anyone ordered these with a high prescription without paying a fee to upgrade the lens? My prescription is -7.50 and I’ve always been told I couldn’t order the basic lens. It’s letting me do it on this site but I’m just curious as to how thick they’ll actually be? They’re just for around the house so as long as they’re not so heavy they instantly fall off I should be good lol.

    • Vane

Would like to know this as well my prescription is high as well. Thanks!

    • Heather C.

Mine isnt super strong, but these are the lightest glasses ever! Significantly lighter than my old pair i ordered from my doctor

    • Mistress Susan TV (@MistressSusanTV)

Don’t do it unless like you said, you just want a pair around the house. I’m a -6. Two things you NEVER want to order from these type of inexpensive places is Progressive Lens and high prescription lens. I order ONLY reading glasses -4.75 from these type places.

  12. Faith

Off topic, but does anyone know of any good deals on dysons currently?? TIA!!

  13. jessicaharrison037

Thanks. My husband has glasses, and he “abuses” them. lol I just bought him two pair for less than $25 shipped using this promo.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great score! You are very welcome!

  14. Ripal

Thanks for sharing . I ordered them

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! YW!

  15. Christi

I’m having a hard time getting my order to go through can someone tell me how they got theirs to work?
    TIA!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn. Are you able to try it in a different browser?

  16. jb

Great price unfortunately many people that require glasses don’t have single vision prescriptions and many of us have bifocals !!! lol
But good price for those that have pretty good vision but still need a little help!
    Thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome.

  17. jodi

Zenni optical has glasses for 7 bucks everyday with prescription. Great alternative option!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing Jodi!

    • jacqui0802

I love Zenni!! I have got all my glasses there for years adults and childrens.

  18. debbie

I went for it. $11.00 total. Not bad. I have $88 ones from Coastal that won’t stay on when I look down (and I can’t adjust them), so I am hoping for these to work out. But if not, I’m not gonna cry over 11 bucks. THANK YOU!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Debbie!

  19. Doug

I second the Zenni optical comment, great cheap glasses in any style strength or color

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for the suggestion Doug!

  20. Mary

I ordered a pair last month when the deal was posted. I paid more for the premium lenses since I wear them while working on the computer and have horrible night vision when driving. $32 total and they are my favorite lenses! I guess I have a big head, because some frames hurt my temple after a few hours, but these are great. Flexible yet sturdy. They took less than two weeks to arrive, which is much faster than other sites I’ve ordered from (though not as fast as some). I would definitely order another pair at $8 to keep in the car or by the bed. Definitely recommend this site. If you are going with an upgrade on the lenses, there are other codes that may save you a little more (whatever code I used took 30% off; I think it was “30off”).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for such a great review Mary!

  21. Mistress Susan TV (@MistressSusanTV)

Mrs. Hip, you are awesome! I have saved so much $$$$$$ from the deals you post. Keep the deals coming.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am new to online glasses. I too have thicker lenses and an astigmatism. My Optometrist is not happy about me buying glasses elsewhere.
I had pancreatitis twice in last 4 months until they took my gallbladder out. My M.D. said my eyes would probably get worse and they have. Would anyone suggest going to an ophthalmologist instead for a new prescription? I am also hoping that my insurance ( Blue Shield will pay for the cost of the exam since my eyes go worse after surgery, which would be a medical condition. The only problem is that my optometrist has all my records year after year.
Thank you, I desperately need new glasses.

    • jodi

I always do this….Walmart $50 eye exam and ask for the copy of your script. Check to see if you can read it.*** then order online for super cheap. Hth.

Do they do progressive lenses for extra price?
