Great find Paul!
Well…the coupon wouldn’t scan at my CVS. Maybe I chose a scent that wasn’t included, I don’t know. That isn’t the issue. The cashier (the same cashier who wouldn’t accept my ECB from a survey a while back, tried to confiscate it, and told me it was counterfeit) said “I have a lot of faithful couponers who come through here every week and I have NEVER seen a printed Redplum coupon. I can tell it’s fake because it doesn’t say Verify on it.” She was very condescending and all but called me a scammer. I asked her if she was implying that I made a fake coupon and she said “Nooooo, but I have NEVER heard of printable Redplum coupons.” Oh, well then I guess they don’t exist (sarcasm). I tried to explain to her that it’s one of the main coupon sites along with Coupons.com and Smartsource but she wasn’t listening at all. She just kept shaking her head no.
I shouldn’t have, but I told her that I’d had her once before and she wouldn’t accept my survey ECB. She said “No, I wouldn’t because it was fake too.” I told her that it was not, and I contacted the company… at which point she interrupted and asked “Which company?” Duh, Walmart? (again, sarcasm, I didn’t say it but I thought it.) I told her that they put it right onto my CVS card so that I didn’t need to use the printout and she said “Well they were just being nice and giving it to you because it was fake.” Grrrr. Wow. Just wow.
So I just sent a complaint to CVS and named her. I told them I will shop at Target where they don’t accuse me of scamming them.
The coupon is also available in this past Sunday’s Red Plum.
