i dont think you can share it. it has your rewards number and name on it. It would need to be reported for tax purposes if you won over $500 i think. Then again, I may be wrong.

Speaking of Staples, I submitted an online rebate request for the Infoguard Cross Cut Paper Shredder that was posted here on 12/20. Today I received a postcard from Staples that said, “We could not honor your request due to the following reasons: All required products were not submitted.” Did this happen to anyone else??

Update: I contacted customer service. They checked my account and determined that I am eligible for the rebate. They were very nice, and my rebate should be coming in a few weeks.

Andrea, I hope you had better luck than I did. After thinking everything was resolved, yesterday I received another postcard from Staples. I was told the rebate had again been denied because the purchase date on the receipt I submitted was not legible, and the postmark date on the envelope was invalid. Problem is, I didn’t mail in the rebate request…I submitted it online. After speaking with online chat and 2 customer service people, and listening to a bunch of automated messages, I have again been assured that the rebate has been approved, and I will be receiving my money. The customer service people were very pleasant, but there is obviously something very wrong with this rebate system!

You aren’t going to be able to use other people’s email coupons. The coupons specifically say the person’s name and rewards number.

I had $10 on it and just got myself three cases of water. I need water more than any supplies for school or office. Just to let other people know that you cannot use somebody else’s reward because if there is a balance left it will be emailed to you email account with you whatever leftover balance certificates.

I read on another site that if someone uses your code, it merges your accounts. Don’t know how true that is but I’m not taking the chance just in case.
