I’m trying to purchase a gift card $4.90. It only applies $3.90 of my $5 new member credit. I wonder why?

    • Guest

They must charge at least $1 every transaction. I contacted customer service about same issue.

I would really appreciate someone (just one?) using my referral link: http://geta.raise.com/xhu4

I used Colin’s link back in November when there was a promo but I didn’t get the $5 referral amount. 🙁 I’m still contacting them about crediting my account. Many thanks in advance!

    • Dominique

The links don’t always work. However, you can download the raise app and enter someone’s referral code there. That will give you your $5 credit instantly if you did not get one by using someone’s referral link. That is also why I included my referral code along with my link below. Hope that helps!

      • hi

You don’t even need the app to do that. You can add the referral code on the website. It’s just hidden pretty well… I think you go to your account, referrals, and then… somewhere from there. Shoot. I’m not much help. This part is no longer available to me since I already entered a referral code. Good luck!

Why are these gift cards discounted??

    • Guest

Because people want to get rid of gift cards they won’t use- I sold a bunch of Victoria secret ones.

    • hi

People want money for gift cards they have no use for. Maybe they moved and the store is no longer near them (a lot of the gift cards are in store use only) or maybe they lost a pet and aren’t getting another one (petco and petsmart are included retailers).

I’d appreciate even one person using my link to get an extra $5 off. Every little bit helps for expenses. Thank you in advance!

  16. hi

I wonder how long you are considered to be a new member… It wouldn’t let me use code TAKE5 and that would’ve been slightly over $5 since I was spending around $110 before discounts. Oh well.

  17. angie ukena

I would love it if someone used my link for an extra $5 off. I have loved selling my unwanted gift cards on this site and purchasing gift cards for a discount price. Great website.

Just thought I would share one experience I had with Raise.com. Bad news: I bought a $150 Whole Foods gc. When I tried to use it, it rang up with only a balance of $4.69. I took the $4.69 off, paid the balance, and called Raise as soon as I got home. Good news: They checked into it and immediately gave me a full refund for my gc purchase with profuse apologies. So I never received an explanation about what happened, but they responded responsibly. I have purchased $100 Whole Foods gcs since that issue and never had another problem.
