I’ve been wanting a scale as well and hubby and I went to a couple thrift stores the other day looking for an inexpensive sofa table we could jazz up. Well, something on a shelf happened to catch my eye! It was a beautiful red Taylor food scale that looked brand new for $10. Thought it seemed high for one in a thrift store, but I googled it and it’s a $70 scale! Needless to say I snagged it. What a score!

      Oh wow! Great find Patty!

Got it! Thank you! I’ve been wanting one for years… just never wanted to spend the money. This is a great price and the reviews were positive.

Thanks – I was planning to get a new scale & this is within my price range, especially since I have a GC 🙂

      Perfect! YW!

Does anyone think I could use this to weigh packages I am mailing? I don’t plan on ever mailing packages heavier than 15 lbs. 😊 Just wondering if this would be efficient. I like selling on eBay occasionally is why I ask.

    • Diane

Why not! That’s what I will use mine for! 🙂

    • Em

I’m Emily too and I was thinking the same thing! I sell on Etsy and it would be very helpful! I think it would work great.
