Does metallic Sharpies work on chalkboard paint?
Permanent marker is meant to not come off. But it’s not meant for chalk boards. Chalk is. There are ways to keep the text on. But sharpies aren’t the right medium.

If you’re looking for a chalkboard, I would suggest finding and painting a really cute frame from a yard sale or thrift store, then go to Home Depot and have them cut to size a chalk board for you. A huge board is around $10 and you get to keep the excess of what was cut for future projects. I have made several like this and they turn out beautiful. As for getting chalk markers to remove (they can seem pretty permanent at times), use a Magic Eraser. Hope this helps!

I had a really hard time getting the discount code to take. It was really bizarre. I would put it in and it would say that it was in valid. At first I thought maybe I did something wrong so I double checked what the code was and reentered. It kept saying invalid code. After entering it on the fifth try it accepted it. So then I thought, I should order two of these, big mistake, that started the whole process over again! It took entering the code about 20X’s then! So I adjusted it back down to one, got my discount and got the heck outta there, lol. I have never had something like that happen on Amazon before. Very weird.

Idea here… Buy the mirror. you posted from Home Depot. For $4.88. Go on Amazon they have rolls of sticking chalk board to cover the mirror for about $5.00 so for less than $10 you have a great chalk board…
