I bought several of these for Christmas gifts and they were such bad quality I couldn’t even give them. The wax was discolored and they looked very old

Yes. I got the white sugar cookie and it was brown and looked like it melted then solidified again. I had to grab a new one ( in store pick up) and exchange it

I ordered the white, red & green one. They had it wrapped in bubble wrap but the shipping made the candle slide up and down in the jar. It looked pretty bad by the time I got it.

Maybe it is just me but I saw these in store, smelled them and they smelled bad. I couldn’t help my reaction when I smelled them, which made my kiddo laugh out loud.

These are very poor quality candles. They look old and discolored and all three smell really awful. And I am NOT picky!!

Thank you everyone for your honest opinions. I had even considered ordering some of the “ball top” jars just to use as storage jars, after removing the wax. But the are only 10 oz so probably too small for what I had in mind.

I dunno, to each their own. I got a whole bunch during Cmas and I use them every day. They aren’t very potent, so I mix different scents. They look nice and the jar is heavy duty.
I have lots of these, am a very picky person and have had no problems at all!. I am actually buring the sugar cookie one right now:) My home is rather large and I light one in the living room downstairs and you can smell it upstairs (Tall open ceiling) and in all the upstairs rooms. I think these candles are great and at this price they beat the Michaels ones!

I hope they have a better packing person now! I ordered twelve of these before Christmas. They arrived in three separate shipments and ALL of them were completely shattered. Most were wrapped in one layer of brown paper and put in a box. Customer service had a hard time returning them because they were so shattered. She was appalled by the way they were shipped.
I’ve never had trouble with kohls shipping until the month- I bought 2 Fiesta serving bowls and they arrived in a plastic shipping bag, wrapped in 2 sheets of paper. One of them of course was shattered. I was amazed that the other one was intact – probably because the was also 2 sweaters on the bag.
CS was shocked when I showed them and of course, refunded the $.
I got 19 of them in the mail today and the first 3 I picked up were shattered! I didn’t even try any other ones. I’m glad to see CS took them back ok bc I’m taking them in tomorrow. I don’t even know if I feel like looking through the rest of them….I might just take them all back.
I ordered 5 candles and 5 wax melts shipped to me for under $18. For that price, I will give them a shot! Thanks Collin

Don’t get your hopes up to actually receive these. I love Kohl’s but I placed several orders when this sale started and each order was changed or completely cancelled. I ordered 10 ornaments for my kids teachers for next year and received 2. They need to do a better job of updating inventory.

Just an fyi that the Golden Thomas the train is only $1.99 again!! I tried to buy it when it was posted before but it was out of stock once I went to pay. It was still in my ‘bag’ when I went to buy these candles and it’s im stock and still coming up as $1.99!!!
