Can anyone speak of the quality of these oils? I usually use DoTerra oils. Thanks.

    • Abby

If they said that you can use them internally, than means they are 100%pure. I use doTERRA too. You spend a little more but with the confidence that you can use them internally and topically and on the diffuser. I’m a Wellness Advocate from doTERRA. If you or any here have any questions please let me know. πŸ˜‰

    • Amanda

This company is associated with Piping Rock which is not trustworthy IMO. Beware.

And I wish sales people from the two major MLM’s would stop spamming anywhere essential oil is mentioned. You can get therapeutic oils from many companies. It’s very hard to weed through as it is. DoTerra and Young Living do not have perfect track records!

      • Katie

Maybe she is just trying to help her out. I’m pretty sure she said this company said they were 100% pure. Nowhere did I see her trying to sell them to her. AND I’m pretty confident I have NEVER seen a company with ANY SORT of perfect track record no matter what they sell. Abby keep spreading the natural chemical free wellness!

I would like to know as well. I am a Plant Therapy user but this is a great deal.

    • JoAnna

Plant Therapy is top notch. I have read that Puritans Pride is on Real Aromatherapy Reviews list titled Not Worth Your Time and Money

      • ph

Puritan Pride has a great refund policy so if you are not satisfied for any reason they will issue a refund.

    • Kim

I use these in my diffuser and I like them.

  3. Retta

Amex users should check their offers. I have one for $10 back on $30.

    • ATeacher

Thank you so much for reminding Amex users! I would have missed out on the extra $10.

    • amy

Thank you for the heads up on the Amex savings!!

  4. karilynsclouds

I just got the probiotics on clearance and the free oil! Thanks so much!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great buy! You are so welcome!

  5. Jen

I would be sure to research any oils before purchasing and hoping to get therapeutic benefits. Essential oils are only required by the FDA to be 3-5% pure to be labeled as 100% pure. I also am a wellness advocate with doTerra and understand there is a major difference between essential oils. Nearly all pure essential oils should be safe for internal, topical, and aromatic use. If they say not to apply to skin, etc that should raise a red flag.

    • Shelby

When you say you’re a wellness advocate with doterra what does that mean? Does it just mean that you sell doterra oils and that you are somewhat educated in their use? Just curious πŸ™‚ Thanks!

  6. Lisa

Oil users – what do you recommend?

    • Katie

I use doterra and young living. There are other companies out there, but I haven’t looked into them. Their customer service is top notch.

    • Sarah

I say the same, Doterra and Young Living are the best as far as most pure. Like another person said, the FDA doesn’t regulate these so someone can say 100% pure and it barely have any real oil. I am really frugal about everything else but i pay more for Doterra oils because I’ve read about their therapeutic grade and how they take the pure process so much further. If you find Frankinsense for next to nothing, it is definitely fake. It usually costs close to $70 wholesale.

These are great, quality oils. Ive been using them after doing my research and I actually have my diffuser going now! Being a mom on a budget its hard to get into the other “name brand” oils, these are great. I have used the lavender on my daughters ears before bed, the diffuser almost every night in my room and use them for bath bombs. These oils are great! I will be ordering more today—thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for such great feedback! Glad you can grab more! YW!

What are the best ones to get?? I have an immune deficiency – hubby suffers from migraines and has asthma… thanks!!

    • shannon

I have used peppermint w/ lavender on headaches and found it to be helpful. I put in a roller bottle w/ fractionated coconut oil and apply to forehead, temples and back of the neck. The ones I use almost daily for various reasons are lemon, lavender and peppermint.
I love my essential oils. I order from a company called Hopewell where you can order directly from the company instead of going through a middleman. You can also get larger bottles from them, like 1 and 2 oz bottles.

      • Caryn

        Thank you

    • Jen

Pure frankincense oil has helped many of my close friends ease discomfort from headaches and migraines. Applying respiratory blend topically and using aromatically is amazing to ease discomfort associated with respiratory issues.

  9. alexandra

I have not used any essential oils before and I would like to start. Any suggestions about which electric diffusers to purchase? Thank you in advance for any advice on this.

    • Jen

doTerra’s aromalite and petal diffusers are my favorite…. And I’ve tried many many different kinds.

    • Lori

The Spa Mist Diffuser is great! I have 3 of them. Used all last winter and now this winter and still working great. Didn’t use them a whole lot in the summer. You can purchase here at Puritan Pride or Amazon. I have used Puritan Pride lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus. They are all great in the diffuser and applied directly on you.

Personally after looking at the label on these oils I would not use them (see below). I took this from their lavender oil because if in fact lavender essential oil is pure it is one of the most soothing oils and can be used internally, on children, pets, to hp soothe irritated skin, etc.

Directions: Enjoy the benefits of Aromappealβ„’ Pure Essential Oil for massage or in your bath. For massage, dilute 5 drops of essential oil in 10 mL of a base oil.

Other Ingredients: Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender Oil).

WARNING: Do not apply to irritated skin. If skin sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on children or animals. Do not ingest. Store at room temperature. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

    • Christine

Hi! I work in the consumer product/personal care space as a toxicologist and regulatory affairs specialist. The warnings you posted are standard verbiage put on products with skin-use potential. It does not not indicate they can not be used on the skin.
I know nothing about these oils in particular, I’m just educating about the label guidance.

Thank you! Been saving empty wallflowers from bath & body works. Pinterest shows how to refill them with essential oils. Ebates is giving 5% back as well. πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Michelle!

    • Leslie

Oh my gosh what a good idea! I’m going to find it in Pinterest now! πŸ˜€

      • Michelle C.

I LOVE Pinterest. πŸ™‚ I have to be careful though….it for me is a black-hole. Sit down for 15 minutes and next thing you know an hour has passed. If I’m not mistaken, the glade oil refills and airwick reills can be reused as well. I have some of all three and am so excited to try this. I’ve been waiting for a good deal on essential oils, and love that I can help the house smell better (with 5 little boys and a sweet husband, sometimes it smells wonky despite my best efforts) without using all chemicals.

  12. Melissa

I don’ see where to put in the promo code.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

As soon as I add the item to my cart I find the coupon code box at the top right of the page. It is also available at the bottom right of the page when I head to checkout. Hope that helps!

  13. Shellmac00

You should never ingest oils even if a know brand says it’s safe. There have been many studies showing its unsafe!

  14. Tammy S.

These seem like a good deal. Especially for what I would use them for. A DIY poo-pouri spray. I found the recipe online and have been wanting to try it. Now I can save more money.

1 cup minus 2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. rubbing alcohol (or substitute 4 tsp. vodka)
2 tsp. vegetable glycerine (or substitute 1 tsp. liquid soap)
    15 drops bergamot essential oil
    15 drops grapefruit essential oil
    15 drops lemongrass essential oil
3 drops blue food coloring (optional).

  15. Leslie

Eucalyptus oil is good to freshen your matress and keep dust mites at bay. Being allergy suffers, I try to use it once a week- I put water, eucalyptus oil and a little vodka (the cheap stuff) in a bottle and spray over mattresses.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the tip!

  16. Jessica Amundson

Thank you! I was looking for a deal on these to put in my wood stove steamer.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh perfect! You’re welcome Jessica!

  17. molly

I have not used these oils but I have tried several different companies. I love plant therapy! The customer service is amazing as well as good product at a reasonable price. And I saw a comment about headaches, I use a synergy blend with frankincense and it works wonders!

  18. Elaine

There aren’t many products (besides an enema if I was desperate sorry) would personally use “internally anyway but what are the risks of oils if you use as a salt or in aromatherapy? .”

  19. Jessica

After seeing this post I researched a bunch of different essential oil companies. Plant tree offers $10 off a $25 purchase for first time customers. Free shipping as well!
