I was at Walmart today and they had $1 coupons taped to the boxes of this cereal.
Sweet find Amy!
I’ve only submitted one receipt to savings star just to try it out and they messed it up… was supposed to get back $8 over 3 rebates but they only credited me for two with no explanation as to why they didn’t do the third. I scanned my products in store, making sure they qualified before I bought them, then of course purchased them and submitted a full, legible receipt selecting all three offers I was after. Still, it was processed wrong. If this is going to be my experience every time I may quit using this app.
I deleted the Savingstar app from my phone the other day. I’ve had an account for a while and submitted so many receipts only to not get the rebates most of the time. Not worth the frustration to continue using it.
Gaahhh! That’s not cool! I may be done with it then too. I only used it to get $0.50 suave shampoo, dove shampoo and st. Ives face scrub. None of which I need immediately but since I could get them that cheap I thought I’d do it. But it’s not that cheap if they don’t credit the rebates correctly.
Just email CS. Unfortunately, ever since they added receipt scans stores, it’s just been one big headache with their processing system, and it could be a case where something was overlooked. I’ve had the app for a while, and I prefer to just use the stores with loyalty cards (Rite Aid, CVS mostly) A few wks ago I had an issue with a Target item missed, but after contacting CS, I got my acct credited.
I have never had problems with them. They work with me if there is a problem and it is always to my favor. They are great!
Just don’t ever use Savings Star at Sam’s or Costco. Every time I submit items from warehouse stores they are declined, even when I contact customer service they won’t honor it. Even the spend $15 on a product and get $3 back, like Ora Ida. Even though the 12 pack of yogurt is 12 regular size (like you buy in the grocery store) they say the multi packs don’t count, even though the deal is when you buy only3 Yoplaits. That’s my biggest problem with Saving Star. I mostly use Ibotta now, they accept the warehouse clubs too. I still use Savings Star some, but not like I use to. Of all my apps, I check them last.
