I bought this item, and i like it but only thing i dont like is that it doesn’t fit my husband’s shoes, he wears size 11. They should’ve made those pockets little wider

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your review Tanya! Good to know!

I love these. I put all the squeeze pouches, small snack bags and baby food containers in them, over my pantry door. My kids know whatever is in those are free game for snacks, and I only out healthy stuff in them! Other stuff, they have to ask for.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Such a great idea Julie! Thanks for sharing!

      Awesome idea!

And I use them to count down the days until trips by putting little things the kids will need for traveling in the pockets! They start to get really excited and I’m not stuck with as many little purchases at the last minute!

    • Becks

Genius! I am going to do that! Makes summer trips easier I’m sure!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sound like fun! Thanks for your feedback Allison!

I swapped out this see thru type with the old fabric type I had. I hang mine on the door of the pantry….on the inside. Keeps things cool and away from the light.
I sort the spices alphabetically. Makes it very easy to see and pull out the spice jars…..much better than when I use to keep the jars in the cabinets. Wipes clean easily if some loose spice happens to get in the clear pockets.
I couldn’t do that with the fabric types I had been using.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for such great feedback!

Aldi has these for $6.99, and they are much sturdier/better quality than others I’ve seen. However, the pockets aren’t clear so I ended up returning the one I bought and buying another at Walmart for $5.87 that does have clear pockets–but it smells toxic. Best to air it out a bit before using. 🙁 My kids have tons of little novelty junk that I can’t convince them to get rid of, so I finally put it all in one of these so they can easily access it and see everything. It ends up buried at the bottom of the toy box otherwise–and scattered around the house when they finally unearth it all. Strangely enough, my daughter seems to enjoy the novelty of it and is putting the toys away when done playing–go figure!

Thanks for sharing Erin! Love that idea!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh perfect!

Based on a comment on Hip2Save, I bought my teacher husband a shoe organizer for his classroom. He has the kids put their cell phones in it so they aren’t distracted during class. He numbered the pockets so everyone has an assigned space. His co-workers think this is genius!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      What an awesome idea!

    • Heather C.

      GREAT idea!

Does anyone who has this haves recommendation for how to hang it without the provided hooks? I got this deal last time and mine came with terribly rough metal door hooks that are unusable on my door. They would scratch it up terribly.

    • riss

Someone from here mentioned that she used Command hooks instead of the provided metal. I think that’s a great idea! Nothing visible from the outside when the door is closed.

      • Dealzgurl

Thanks for that suggestion! That’s why I didn’t want to get one. I need it for my bedroom door.

    • v

what about electrical tape. Comes in many colors and it stretches. Ya might be able to wrap it…slightly overlapping as you go. It’ll give a thin layer of protection against scratches.
I use electrical tape to close up bags of sugar, flour, and other things. Cheap for me…I just cut away when it’s not sticking anymore and add another piece.
Walmart sells a roll of black electrical tape for around 60 cents I believe.

    • Sara

I bought some of that blue putty stuff from the dollar store to try to put on the ends. I read that tip from someone else. I want to use it on lots of stuff that might scratch

    • Traci Anderson

Brilliant! I have a Walmart one in our hall linen/craft/game closet but it does irk me that the hooks are visible.

    • TSC

      Large Command hooks

  11. kristie

Just got one to help organize little extra educational activities I make for my kids using ideas I have found on Pinterest. Thank you!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! You’re so welcome Kristie!

  12. Adrian

I would so get one of these if I had Amazon prime. I don’t save much in the end if I buy this and fill in with other stuff to get to $35 for the free shipping. Can I borrow someones prime? Just kidding

    • v

We passed up the Prime membership deal that was running recently. Sure wish I hadn’t.
I found out yesterday that Amazon just started offering the 1 Hour delivery in our city.

      • Adrian

I feel you! Sometimes I wish I had prime, but I honestly don’t think I order enough for it to be worth it. I need a friend with prime for those few times like now, where something comes up that I need. 1 hour delivery would be nice if I ordered food from Amazon, but I have never done so. I always imagine that food would arrive old and stale or beaten to bits.

  13. Jen

These are great when doing extended stay at a hotel with the family. We bring this – hang on bathroom door and put all toiletries in it. Kids can reach everything and the small counter space is clutter free!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome idea Jen!

    • JA

      Love that idea!
