Please be careful if you order from this site. I ordered a $50 chick fil a gift card and only used $8 when it was hacked somehow and the whole amount was gone. I contacted Raise and they did credit most of what I paid for it.

    • Ari

If it is a card “delivered to wallet” it is fine. Chick fil A cards have problems because Chick fil A guarantees all “stolen” cards. So, dishonest people sell them, write down the number, then report it stolen. They are issued a new card, while you are left with nothing. I’ve had luck with other cards and Raise refunded the Chick fil A card when I had this happen to me.

    • Sharon

Same thing happened to me this week with a Chick-fil-a gift card. I called to verify the amount on the card when I received it a couple of months ago. I used a small amount on the gift card a week later and all was fine. Then the other day when I went to use it again, I was told it had been closed. When I called Chick-fil-a customer service about it, they said it had been closed two days after I used it the first time because it had been originally purchased with a fraudulent credit card. Someone purchased it dishonestly and sold it to Raise and unfortunately it was my loss. I haven’t contacted Raise about it yet, but plan to. It has been past the 100 day guarantee but I want them to know so they can flag that seller as being dishonest. 😩

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear that 🙁 Thanks for your honest feedback!

    • Chin

I bought the gift tow years ago ,with no expiration day. Last month I try to use it . I shopped at the store, the store said that this card is not activate. I called Rise customer service and talked with one of their supervisor. She keep telling me the company has 100 days card insure and refund policy. She is the highest person which I could talk with. She can not do anything to help me. My question is I bought the no expiration date gift card. After tow yeas , I can’t use it. The sales company keep saying is over “100 days policy.” Where my money goes and who gets my money?

  2. Kaylan

I have had good luck with this site. I ordered a few gift cards and had no issues. I actually forgot about this site. I will have to use it again.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear it! Thanks for sharing Kaylan!

I use this site very often and haven’t had any problems yet. Mostly I get the gift cards to be used for online purchases, as they are sent to you almost immediately. But I haven’t had a problem with the physical gift cards or the balances being hacked. Knock on wood!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your review Lindsey! Glad you have scored some great Raise deals!

  4. Amy

Yes be careful. My husband and I bought a Olive Garden gift card and used part if it for one meal. When we came back to use it again, the balance was zero. It was embarrassing to have the manager sit down and explain that the card appeared to have been stolen. Never again.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear about that Amy. 🙁 Thanks for sharing!

Is there a reason that you’ve decided that you’re the one that needs to police this? I bet if she actually minded that she wouldn’t allow the comment to post or would remove them. No reason to go after everyone who happens to post a link or referral.

      • Jay

What are you the referral police??

        • Q

No she is not! But she is pointing out what Colin requested. Colin and her team created this site. If you can not respect her requests, kindly create your own site where ever one can give EVERYONE their own codes 😀

        • Q

          Jay- it’s called respect 😀

    • Q

Jenny- can you read and respect Colin’s request? I’m sure Colin and her team would appreciate it 😀

      • Maddison

why don’t you just mind your own business 🙂

        • Q

Maddison- please create your own savings website. Kindly let us all know when it’s done so we can come and post our own referral codes on your site! Can’t wait to hear when it’s done — I’m waiting 😱

      • Jenny

I actually commented before reading the entire post. My apologies Collin. I will definitely make sure to read first next time.

        • Q

Bought two Panera cards from Raise. First one had a zero balance. Raise gave me my money back. Used second card once. Next time I went into Panera, zero balance. I’m done with Raise!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer 🙁 Thanks for sharing your experience.

  9. B

I just bought a gift card this morning and took it to the store only to be told it wouldn’t work. Raise refunded me, but it’s a bummer when you’re planning on using a card only to be told it wouldn’t work. You can’t count on the discount, that’s for sure.

  10. K

Only problem I ever had was when I ordered a physical card. They sent it but it was “undeliverable” so USPS sent it back. Apparently they didn’t use the correct amount of postage. But Raise contacted me right away about it and resent it that day. I never have problems with the egift cards.

  11. Dee

Please be very careful. I have had problems with a zero balance on a card. I paid for it received it. The inital balance was correct. Gave the card as a gift to find out when my parents went to use it there was no balance. I did receive a refund but it took over 40 days.

  12. LJ

I have spent a few thousand on this Raise, using it to pay for vacation and home improvements. Twice cards I received did not have a balance. Raise recommends checking the balance before using it. They have a simple email process explained on their website to request a refund if the balance is 0. No questions asked, refunded immediately. Love Raise.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for such helpful feedback!

  13. Catherine

I bought a 5 guys gc and called to check the balance the first day I received it – it was good. Went to 5 guys a few days later – it was reported stolen. Embarrassing. Called Raise- they refunded the amount but it was a hassle all around.

  14. Luna

We had success with some purchases but I think it was a lowes card which was not accepted but got a full refund when contacted the customer service

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh good!

  15. Ashlie

Does anyone know if there’s a way to manage your ‘orders’ screen? I’ve probably bought 200 gift cards off of Raise and had no issue. But sometimes I don’t use it immediately and I lose track of what’s been used and what hasn’t! Is there a way to remove the gift cards you’ve redeemed?

    • K

Yes! Go you your wallet, then your cards tap the card you want to remove, tap it again to show the card#, then tap remove.

      • Ashlie

Thank you so much! You just made my life so much simpler.

  16. Kristen

I actually love raised. Bought and sold numerous times. I love it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Love Raise. Bought multiple gift cards from them with no issues! Would love if someone used my link! You’ll get a $5 credit towards your first gift card! https://www.raise.com/raise-rewards/kkeston

I also think its respecrful to use Collins link. Otherwise she would probably say “feel free to use your own link’. Lets not disrespect the site. Its the best one around. Collin posts all day and probably works hard. There is a specific page for links and referalls to share.
Thanks again Collin for a great site that isnt 90% ads now. like some other site we may know

there isn’t a place for referrals

      • s

It would be nice if there was a place for referrals. Then people can post their referrals there and stop being harassed by the referral police on every post like this. Plus it would move them to a designated place to help unclog regular postings, just like the trading page has done.

  20. candace

I’ve actually bought egift cards in the store. Its delivered while I shop and then I use them!

    • Frecklelily

      I do the same thing!

  21. Megan

I have bought several gift cards from Raise and have had good luck with all but one. Their customer service was great though and they refunded the card that was falsified. And for what it’s worth, I also think people should keep their referral links to their own blogs, friends and families. Use Collins link!

  22. Liz

I bought a Panera gift card, used it once and then went back to the store and the balance was zero. I called and emailed and they asked me to remember how much I used the first time. I honestly had no idea and couldn’t really remember if I had definitely used it. (3 kids under five brain) I got some money back but probably still lost in the end. Not worth the hassle. Never again

  23. debi

I bought a couple of Walmart gift cards through Raise with success but if I had gone through some of the issues listed above I probably would avoid using it. I’ve sold a few cards and all went well. (on other sites). Good luck to everyone.

  24. Cindy

This is slightly off topic because it’s about Cardpool vs. Raise. I have purchased from both and for the most part like both companies.

My question concerns Walmart and the new Cardpool smartphone app. It seems great because I can buy a gc for, say, Walmart right there on my phone and then use it to check out. EXCEPT when I did that a couple days ago, the bar code on my phone from the Cardpool wallet triggered a “CSM must approve” message on the Walmart cash register. So the CSM had to come over and hand key in the entire gc number (which is long). I emailed Cardpool asking how this is supposed to be a good thing, and they told me that CSMs often have to key in gc codes at various stores for security, but I’ve never had that happen before.

Has anyone been able to use an e-gc from a wallet-type setup on their smart phone at Walmart, or is this just the way it will work every time? The people behind me were so pissed because a simple 10-item check out took about 15 minutes while we all waited for the CSM. I’m better off just buying the plastic gift cards that come in the mail…

  25. L

Ive used Raise several times with no issues so far. I use it to buy Grocery Store Gift Cards, CVS cards, and sometimes food cards or store cards can really have a good discount. For awhile, I was able to get Taco Bell for 25% off even. I have not had any issues so far, and I have even sold some Gift Cards without any issues.
