   Just FYI on the Pete the Cat book, the author of this one is not the original Pete the Cat author Eric Litwin. So those that were fond of the original stories, that is not the case with these new ones, Pete is very negative, doesn’t rhyme & no longer happy go lucky. 😟 If you have not read Eric Litwin’s newest book Bedtime at the Nuthouse, it is a must read for any parent of young children, so funny!

  I actually just bought the pete the cat easter book and did not think it was negative. Pete was problem solving trying to be the easter bunny and there was some rhyming in the book. I like it and so did my daughter. It also had a poster, stickers, and easter cards in it.

   Scuffy is such a nostalgic book in our family. My hubby’s family doesn’t speak English very well so my hubby never had books at home when he was little. He literally only remembers having one book in his house and it was scuffy. His mom bought it from goodwill and his older sister would read it to him. When we had our baby boy in May, my hubby bought this book and reads it to him. I think it’s so sweet. (Although the story is a little lame)
