I’m looking for a good infant car seat travel system deal! Let me know if you find one please!

    • liji

      Same here…

      • Katie

We loved the B-agile and B-safe combo system. I’m using it now for baby #2 too.

  3. Annie

Very helpful! Preparing a gift basket or other gift deals for an upcoming baby shower. Thanks H2S!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet! You’re so welcome Annie!

So..hopefully this won’t sound dumb…but how far in advance should I buy baby wipes for a baby expected in late September?

    • Ashley

I have stocked up way in advance. I usually buy several cases(enough to last me a year) from babies r us on Black Friday. I’ve never had any problems.

    • Happymama

Not dumb at all! When you find a rock bottom price, snag it! I had so many that the bottom shelf of the changing table was stacked full (oh I miss double coupons at Kroger, LOL). It took a little over a year to use them and they were all fine. That goes for diapers too. When you find an great deal, get it. The last thing you want to do after having your baby is run out for diapers at full price.

    • Nikole

I start as soon as i find out I’m pregnant i am on my 2nd pregnancy with twins and today I got 11 packages of diapers and some formula nursets for $6.28 so if you have a deal get it diapers and wipes don’t go bad but you will need alot but be careful buying formula you wanna make sure it doesn’t expire b4 you will use it and if your baby doesn’t take it well you must be able to return unopened

      • Dealzgurl

Thanks everyone for your feedback! I really appreciate it!๐Ÿ˜Š

    • AA

I had a gender reveal party in Dec and my baby wasn’t due until April! I still haven’t bought diapers or wipes and we are approaching a year and still have a ton of diapers and wipes left. I seriously probably have about a 3 year supply of wipes we got so many!

I only buy diapers and wipes now if their is an extremely good deal, but I’m totally done with wipes for a long while!

But I would definitely start stocking up now! You will always need them, and that way you can just buy when the deals come around and never pay full price!

      Congrats on the little one!

Anyone have any input on the best deal on a crib mattress? We need a second one for May baby since my son is using his in his toddler bed.

    • Nikole

I found some on amazon for $52 best price I’ve seen

    • Laura

We got a really good deal on the crib, so we splurged on a really good mattress since the baby will be using it even as a toddler.

  6. Laura

The Catalina didn’t print for me while doing the Huggies deal at Rite Aid. After contacting them, Catalina marketing told me I didn’t qualify.

    โค๏ธ this post!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear it Amy! ๐Ÿ˜€

Denise G. , I don’t know how you feel about used but I picked up a used crib Organic Mattress at a kids second hand store. I know, that just about every where you read, they tell you not to buy used but I think we can be good consumers & buy wisely. There can be a bad idea in some cases if the mattress looks very old, worn & torn but in the case of the one I got for my son. The previous owner only used it for there one child. I bought a cover for it & I use a liner too, that protects it from accidents. I’m due in two weeks & my second baby will be using it. I haven’t had any problems with it. Good luck & use your best judgement.
