Great find Danielle! Thanks for the heads up!
I’ve used nothing but Brewstations for the last 4 years and love them! The coffee stays hot for up to 4 hours because it is not housed in a glass carafe! And if you are like me and regularly break your glass carafes, then this is the way to go!!
Thanks for such awesome feedback Diane! Good to know!
I got a 12-cup Hamilton Brewstation as a wedding gift 12 years ago and we use it almost everyday and it is still going strong. It keeps the coffee hot for awhile too and is easy to clean. Love this product.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for sharing!
I hate my brew station….when I remove the basket, there is always water underneath (on either sides of the heating element….not brewed, just clear water that must leak in there from the dispenser. Seeing the few posts of how much you guys love it, maybe I should contact the company (mine has done it from day one when I bought it two years ago)
Sorry to hear about that. π
I agree. I had the same problem
Try cleaning it.. run vinegar thru it a couple of times and use a brush on the mesh area in the basket… it gets gunked up with coffee residue. See if that helps!
I have one that is almost 10 years old . Going strong !We love it !!! I’m upgrading to the newer model that is $34 only because I want the stainless to match my new kitchen !!!
Oh awesome! π
I was looking to purchase one of these, my only concern is how do you clean it. Meaning, I wash my carafe once a week in the dishwasher, does the brewed coffee just sit inside the reservoir? and if you don’t drink all 12 cups, do you just drain them out? Or does it only dispense, for instance, 12 oz at a time, etc. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Donna,
It easily comes apart. The same top container (sorry I don’t know the proper lingo) that comes off is used to fill with water, pour into the coffee maker, and then you can easily dump out any unused coffee. This coffee maker is the BEST! I had mine for 8 years, upgraded a year ago to a ‘fancier’ coffee maker and hated it. I re-purchased this one and LOVE it.
Thanks for the info! Sold!
I’ve used Brewstations for 10 years and they’re the best! Love how easy they are and that there’s no glass to break! My newest one (I upgraded to the newest model at the time about a year ago) keeps the coffee hot for hours without making the coffee taste old!
Sweet! Thanks for your review!
I have had my Brew station for about 6 years and love it!
