This is one of my favorite coupon scores. We take all of the free magazines we receive up to the used book store and get anywhere between $5-$20. We then take that free money and take are little ones to Party City. The one near us has huge candy displays with little baskets (which are the perfect size for little ones to hold). They get to pick out the candy they want and then we will pick up fun cups or plates. My girls love this outting. The cashiers bag their candy seperately, so they feel even more special walking out with their own bag of goodies. We love it because the shopping trip doesn’t cost us a dime!
Just wondering…why would a bookstore want used magazines? Do all bookstores do this?
They sell them. Our local used book stores sell books, magezines, records, DVDs, vhs tapes. You can even find cassettes and 8-tracks. I’m not sure about all used bookstores, but Half-Priced books does. My sister-I’m-law purchases magezines for school craft projects.
