I love their workshops! Thanks so much for posting all their workshops and Lowe’s!! It’s so awesome that they are free and my son really enjoys it!!
You’re welcome!! Glad to be of help! ๐
Just came back from the wagon one, my favorite so far! Thanks for always updating us! ๐
Yay! You are so welcome!
We just finished making the wagons. My kids had a great time and want to go back next month.
Happy to hear that Amy!
I was so looking forward to doing the wagon this morning with my 3kids, I registered like always, but when we got there they said they didn’t have anymore kits left. The lady doing the workshop said she didn’t know anything about registering online๐
This is the first time this has happened but I was very disappointed, since I woke up early and made a special trip out just to the workshop
Oh bummer ๐ That does sound disappointing. Maybe next time, after you register, double check with your store as well to ensure a spot. Hope that helps!
This would be our first workshop; do you have to show up at 9 or any time during that time period?
I suggest you to go early, the one I go to gets crowded super fast and then it’s hard to find an empty seat.
Yes it depends. I live in a small town so I go at 10 and miss the early crowd. I’ve also done that in San Antonio and still got the kit but I saw others turned away
Did the wagon this morning with my grandson. He loves these workshops. We registered on line also but I think you can go without registering. Sammie you don’t have to be there at exactly 9. We got there around 9:15 & others came after us. Get there as early as possible to be sure you get a kit though. We also did the Michael’s craft which started at 10.
Thanks for such helpful feedback Lois!
Thank you Collin for all your posts!!!! I would miss a lot if I didn’t check your blog throughout the day :))
You’re so welcome ๐
What is a butterfly house? Is it like a feeder? If so, I can appreciate that. If it is for kids to collect butterflies and keep them, I don’t. Butterflies have such a short lifespan. They should be free to go where they want, not be imprisoned for a child’s amusement.
I’m curious what a butterfly house is as well! I agree with you! Was hoping to read the comments and find out!
Google it. I found this as a description.
“One way to encourage butterflies to call your garden home is to give them a safe place to build their cocoon and unfurl their wings. This stately butterfly home will withstand the elements while blending nicely into your yard and garden decor.”
We just go pick up a kit and bring it home to do. It’s much less rushed that way and you can avoid the crowd.
Thanks for sharing your tip Kristy!
