I was in yesterday. I got 2 pair of pants for my son and a ninja turtle ball for a total of $2.08 with the $5 off coupon. I thought the clearance prices were high to start with. 40 percent off? Clearance use to start at 60 percent off. Lots to look through but you can find some clearance marked 70-90. Then with the extra 40 percent off and coupons it can be a great deal if you need it.
Kohls question… I got a $10 off $30 in my email that starts the 10th. How much would I have to spend to combine that with the $10 off $30 baby? $40 or $60?

Murfreesboro, TN is also extra 40% off clearance! I got my kids three Discovery Kids fort building sets for $12 each (but also had some reward dollars and coupons so didn’t actually pay $12 per set) and some Star Wars dinnerware for $3! Also snagged some stuffed animal and throw sets for birthday gifts of Star Wars and Frozen for about $7 each.

We got this for my son and he loves it! Definitely takes a grown up to build the examples, but it’s well built.
My kids like the forts well enough, but it is tricky to get the “sticks” into the “balls” solidly. The structures end up very wobbly. You definitely need more than one kit to build anything worthwhile, but you sacrifice stability a bit with bigger structures. I got two sets for $3 apiece at JC Penney’s a couple years ago. They definitely got $6 worth of use, but I wouldn’t purchase them again, even at that price.

My store is up to 85%off plus an extra 40% off all clearance and I live in Bloomington Normal Illinois. I scored great deals.
I was at a local store in Long Island, NY this past Friday and clearance was marked at 85% off, I only checked kids clothes and there were amazing deals combined with the $10 off $30 purchase coupon. I paid $15 for over $110 of clothes.
My store was an additional 40% off clearance as well!

I purchased 6 mens dress shirts, 6 golf shirts 1 pair mens dress pants, womans shirt ,2 mens ties and eyebrow kit for $101.00 plus $20 Kohls cash! Saved $400!
Their prices are sooooo over inflated! I just laugh when they tell me how much I saved. Really? Who in their right mind is going to pay $12 for a washcloth?? No – we wait for a sale with coupons etc.
They’re terrible with high regular prices. Nobody in their right mind would pay what’s on the tags there.
That’s why there’s a class action lawsuit against Kohls. They boast savings opportunities off of prices that were NEVER charged. They’re not the only store that does it or marks up prices just in time for a sale, but definitely one of the worst offenders. (And yes, I do shop there – Like you guys, I take their “original” prices with a large grain of salt).
So true! I rarely shop at Kohls since my husband discovered their blatant price gouging a few years ago. He wanted to buy new towels, so he had been price checking a number of stores. He finally decided on Kohls when they went buy one, get one. When he went to the store, he discovered that they raised the regular price–even though tags with the original, lower MSRP were sewn into the towels. He went next door and bought towels at Target.
Yes! This bothers me too. Fine if you we a to have prices, but to put stickers over the original barcode and change the recommended price…that’s over the top! But they DO price match and will often let you use a coupon too (but depends on who you get!)
I think it’s important to know their sales set up. Some stores have lower prices in general and that’s how they bring people in the door. Other stores rely on large sales to bring people in the door. Gap switched over to a large sale type model too. That’s why I laugh at all the emails I get from them. Anything less than 50% off is a “regular” price in that store!
In Michigan it was an extra 40% off stacked with the 10 off 30 kids, and the extra 30% I got 25 items for 80 bucks, including 3 pairs of shoes!!
My kohls has been at additional 40% off for about 2 weeks now. Awesome deals!

Clearance was an extra 40% off in Evansville, IN too! I combine with my 30% off, $5 coupon, and $10 off $30 kids apparel. Got 11 pairs of pants for my kiddos for next winter and only spent $11.23!!

I went yesterday knowing it be 20% but instead shocked to see 40%. This is southern CA. This is the first time I actually spent 3 hours in the store. Bought 4 men’s dress pants, Dana Buchman top, 2 bras, panty, necklace for $75. Used $10 intimate, $5, 30%. I did not expect 40% so am hoping they will credit $10 coupon on men’s wear.
I felt like I robbed them a couple days ago. Spent $361 and saved $993. Great deals!
I’m also in So. Cal. and picked up great deals on everything! 2 of my stores had the add’l 40% and one was still at 20%. Some really cute home decor w/ major discounts. They also had women’s pants and capris for $1.50-1.75. Crazy!
We just got 8 individual pieces of Samsonite luggage for around $800 and we got $180 back in Kohls cash. The luggage was on clearance and then with the extra 40% off it was an incredible deal. The bottom of my receipt says “Total Saved $2729.67”!!!!!!!!

Clearance was 40% off yesterday in Fairfield, OH. Using $5 coupon, $5 yes reward, and 30% off coupon, I got a Carters’s 3 piece outfit (pants, onesie, and jacket) for $1.13. Love these deals!
In Boise & Nampa, ID clearance is 20% off but I heard in Meridian, ID its 40% off. I guess it has to do with their inventory.
The guy ahead of me at the check-out spent a little over $12, and saved $487!!! I agree, their original prices are way out of line, but it makes your savings look good! 😉

The 40% off is off the already reduced price marked. So I got some items that were $6 for example. After the additional 40% off they were only $3.80. I got $175 worth of kid’s clothes for less than $7 using $15 in mvc rewards I was sent and a $10 gift I got in the mail. Can’t beat that. I am in San Antonio.
My kohls has their clearance racks 85% off or more plus an additional 40% off! I shipped the juniors racks the other day and got 5 shirts and 2 sweatshirts for $12! I got a 30% off coupon, $10 off $30 for juniors apparel, and had a $5 off coupon that came in the mail. So exciting!!!

My local Kohl’s have this sale going on too! The signs are red and say up to 85% off, when you take an additional 40% off (taken at the register). The sign is a bit confusing I’m sure to many shoppers who don’t read the small print. I went last week and again yesterday. My sister came with me yesterday as well. I added the current “SUNNY” promo code to my wallet on my phone for an additional 30% off. I have a Kohl’s charge and my sister does not, but the cashier let her use the code on my wallet just fine and didn’t say she couldn’t, so she got 30% off her 40% off clearance purchase too 🙂

I just called my store to find out if I should pack the kids up and head over or not. The lady I spoke with said the extra % off of clearance amount varied, based on the price of the product. ??? I’ve never heard of them doing that before. I was hoping for a simple answer of 40%! 😀

Went Friday morning, Northern CA, still only 20% off clearance. Many of the items were still on their first markdown and they had tons of baby/toddler clearance. Clerk didn’t seem to know (or wouldn’t say) when it might go lower. Had a 10 off 30, 30% off and free $5 so got some good deals. Still hoping it will go lower.
Rochester ny area had 85% clearance. A ton! And there were a ton of people in there! I waiting in line 33 minutes, but after shopping the clearance racks for over an hour I figured why not wait? Great deals, kids, juniors, men’s, womens, shoes, everything! And the 10 off 30 coupons ……deals deals deals. The funniest was listening to the people in line and the people walking up to find the end of there line! 🙂 talk bad all you want about kohls, but if you know what you should be paying for something and then there are clearance on top of discounts….you just have to know how to use the coupons they have. On Thursday I got a pair of jeans, a set of flannel Star Wars sheets, Olaf sheets and a matching Olaf comforter for $31.xx after discounts and including tax. ‘Saved’ $188 off retail. My store had the additional 40% off. Something I bought a couple weeks ago that they still had was Frozen (Anna & Elsa, pink & purple) shower curtain hook set on clearance for $2.49 (reg $24.99) before any additional discounts. Lots of great clearance finds left at my store.

My 18 yr old son was needing some more pants I went in last night and found him a pair of Columbia khakis reg $50 marked down to $5, then 40% off that, THEN 20% off coupon. Yeah that was awesome ❤️

Kohl’s in Springfield Mass 20%,The one in West Springfield Mass was 40% some great buys on women’s and men’s winter and jewelry items,you need two hours…”AT LEAST”😁
Algonquin, gurnee and round lake IL stores are all 40%. Mchenry was only 20% when I was there last week. I got a lot of great kids clothes.
I had a great experience at my kohls in Georgia. Clearance was marked 70-85% off with the additional 40% at the register. I had a 30% off and found a $10 off $30 on kids clothes online and was able to use that all to get 15 pieces of clothing for my son for next season.
I just spent $180 and saved $467 plus I got $30 in Kohls Cash. I was siked.
Not all stores have the 40% off. In my town, one of the two stores has an extra 40% and the other has an extra 20%. I would call before you go. Plus you can stack the dollar off coupons with the additional 30% for cardholders (or 20% or 15% depending on what you got in the mail). There are also some in ad coupons.
