No it will not work with the plain Wii.
Wii u fit the game doesn’t work on regular 1st gen wii. However the board will if u can find Wii fit and Wii fit Plus games.
You can get them for $27 on Target right now too. The meter is separate for $9.99 but I am wondering why they are clearing them out. Does anyone know if they are coming out with another Wii? I was hoping to get a Wii U for my kids soon but I don’t want to this if they are discontinuing it like the did with the regular wii.

I just recently bought the Wii U from Walmart and this set last month when you posted the bundle deals. My kids (9 and 5) love the Wii Fit pad and interactive games. Even if a newer version of the Wii is coming out, I think it would be silly not to take advantage of the price cuts. It has been money and entertainment WELL spent! 🙂 Thanks!
