Can you combine this code with the living social deal they had a few weeks ago?

    • tina

I tried to use it with the livingsocial deal but it would not let me use both.

I also have ordered from The Bouqs many times. Always happy with the flowers and they often last 4+ weeks. Have a bouquet right now from them that I got Feb 25 and it’s still good. Love that they don’t charge shipping and you can pick the date to track and receive them.

Thanks for sharing your experience Judy!

It did not work for me. Its not possible to purchase it for $30, when its only $10 off (unfortunately they don’t even apply that) when the lowest price is $50.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I am still finding it to work for me for $30 when I select the “Original” size. Hope that helps!

I ordered from The Bouqs since I saw them on Shark Tank. I loooved their photos and the people I sent them too always said how nice they were. This past February I ordered my mom some bright pink roses because she is obsessed with all things pink. I received the order delivery confirmation from FedEx so I told her to check her front porch for her present. She was running out so she said she would…I expected a text or call, but got nothing. Figured she was busy (heading out to her last third shift as a nurse) so didn’t think much of it. The next evening she text me “My neighbor just brought over my beautiful greenish pink roses! Thank you so much! They smell terrific!”. First, I was like “greenish pink”? I sent bright pink! Then I was like “your neighbor?!” What the heck??? Turns out the FedEx guy delivered it to the wrong address and the neighbor saw my mom outside coming home from work so she brought them over that night (thank goodness, otherwise I never would have known). Then she sent me a picture of the roses (I ordered my first deluxe bouquet from them, so I had higher expectations). It was so embarrassingly horrible. They were literally green roses with a pink/brown tipped edge. Maybe the brown was from the neighbor not taking care of them? I don’t know, but I certainly did NOT pick green roses. So I contacted the company that night and said what the heck is going on? Not only did my mom not get her flowers delivered to her on time, but she didn’t get what I ordered. The customer service people requested pictures, so I sent them. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed to add more water to the vase. I wrote back “Are they magic roses that will turn pink when more water is added?”. They replied that their rose specialist said its the right order, just a shade variation. I wasn’t aware that green was a shade of pink. I would have been fine if they were some shade of pink, but being described as “greenish pink” was not what I was buying. They refused to make it right. I didn’t want my money back. I wanted my mom to get what I ordered for her, which was delivered to the right address PINK flowers. After about 15 email exchanges, they offered me a $10 credit to apply to another order. I told them they could give it to someone else because I would never use them again. They continued to send the same “We’re super bummed you weren’t super happy with your order. Let us know what we can do to help.” responses. I told them I was going to send the email thread to the owner of the company. Then they offered to replace the bouquet and gave me three options to pick from that could be guaranteed pink. The order would not be made deluxe either.
After all of this, my mom finally got her birthday bouquet 12 days after her birthday. I never asked to see what they sent because I would have just cried, but man, what a project. I was so mad at their lack of proactivity in doing the right thing and forcing me to ask/beg/threaten to get it. Someone on their Facebook page also commented on their same bouquet being “not as vibrant”, so I guess we got the same batch of roses? I think their pictures are beautiful, but VERY deceiving if you aren’t going to get something similar to what you see. I’ll never order from them again, which is a shame because I’m running out of flower options!! LOL
Maybe I should just send cookies or Sharri’s Berries instead πŸ˜‰

Oh bummer πŸ™ Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

To get a nice and big bouqet you will have to spend $40 (after discount) so I’m looking for other options. BTW Proflowers is having a great deal now… amazingly great prices for big bouqets! I have used them in the past and never had any issues. Excellent for the price too! Just my personal experience and wanted to share. πŸ˜‰

So happy to hear that! Thanks for your review!
