Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of becoming a recording artist just like Cyndi Lauper. And today, my lifelong dream has come true (I am so emotional and am literally crying as I type this post). Over the last few months, I have been working around the clock to record my first album which is set to release on May 1st, 2016 – so be sure to mark your calendars!
Since I am never one to keep a surprise for long, I asked begged my talent manager/record label to let me release my very first single today for all you Hip2Save readers! Sorry to make this a serious post, but Collin my dad very suddenly passed away last year on April 1 from cardiac arrest & 2 days later I had my 2nd daughter. I was just sitting here thinking: I still can’t believe it has been a year, that he is really actually gone, that it happened when it did, and how he never got to meet my daughter. This video literally put a smile on my face when I didn’t think anything else could at the moment. Thank you for that! 🙂 This is hysterical.

So sorry to hear that. Time does pass by so quickly though. My uncle (a police officer) was killed 3 years (2/26/13) ago right before I had my daughter and my grandpa died 2 years (4/13/14) ago (the Dr said it literally was a broken heart from losing his son). It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long. It’s hard, but it will get easier. He knows you’re a great mom and he’s so proud of you.
