For those with dogs that have sensitivity to food, beware. I tried to change my boxer to this food and $250 in vet bills later, she barely survived it.

Did the vet specify what caused the issue when switching to this food?
Yeah I’m not sure about that but we’ve been using this food with our dog who has food sensitivities for a long time and it’s been great.
Unfortunately the targets in my area do not carry it.

I have 2 dogs with allergies which made it difficult to find a food that worked well for them and the Just 6 formula has been great for them! We’ve been using it for over 2 years now with no issues.

Same here. My little dog is very sensitive and this food is good to him. Beneful hurt him. Every dog is different. Just make sure to ease them into their new food by adding more new food to their old good every day. Just like people have allergies. Milk eggs gluten so do dogs.
My dog was constantly scratching and pulling her hair out in patches and we started her on the just 6 dog food and immediately her problems stopped. We had gone to the vet several times before trying this food, tried several different medications, and nothing was working so this food has been a godsend for her. Unfortunately my target doesn’t carry it (so bummed!) but I highly recommend this dog food.
Oh my Tina, that sounds exactly like what my dog had been doing!! I have to take her to the vet regularly for steroid shots because of the itching, redness and welps she gets. Vet says its allergies of course, but because we live in the country it could literally be an allergy to just about anything. But because of your post, I’m going to try another diet change to this and hope that’s the culprit. Either way, thank you for posting, because sometimes people’s inputs can truly make a difference and I do appreciate the time it takes to do it!!
