Just wanted to say that I bought this exact model a while back and was afraid to use it, but recently made a couple of batches of beans in under an hour. Now I look forward to finding new uses… I love it!
That’s great Irene! Thanks for your feedback!
I got the upgraded one from this bad have had a great time making things. Ribs next week!
YUM! Thanks for sharing!
We got one a couple months ago and use it almost every night. Salmon is wonderful in 5 mins. Sweet potatoes are amazing in about 6. Baked potatoes in 10. I like that you can sautΓ©/brown chicken first then fully cook it in minutes. We LOVE this! I highly recommend it!
Wow! That’s awesome! Thanks for the review Sarah!
Guess I’m terrible. I have two of these!!! LOL!! Love them!!!ππ»ππ»ππ»
This pot is awesome!!!! Cooked a 5 pound roast in under 2 hours ππΎ
There is also a 4 quart digital one on QVC for $49.96, with three payments of $24.98.
I do a whole chicken in 30 minutes (and let sit for 30 after )
Can you put pint jars in here to actually can (preserve) in them?
The website doesn’t recommend canning with it.
Wondering same as far as canning?
No canning.
Does this come with a recipe booklet?
Yes and tons of online resources. And facebook groups.
I have the pressure cooker XL and it takes forever to heat up and get ready, then it takes forever to release the steam and unlock… Or maybe I don’t use it correctly, does anyone else have that model?
Requested one for my birthday. So hubby said buy. I did get a different model. But absolutely love it.
This is the handiest kitchen appliance I have ever bought! It has replaced both my rice cooker and my slow cooker. You can use the sautΓ© function to brown chicken, then add rice and water or chicken stock, and a complete meal is done in no time! I’ve also made chili, stew (meat is so tender), and vegetables. There is also a FB group for the Instant Pot, which is very helpful.
Thanks for such great feedback Samantha!
