I’ve been begging my husband for an ergo since I was pregnant. This is just what I needed to get him to say yes! Thanks! So excited!!!

      You’re welcome!

I got this last time it was on sale at Zulily, it makes grocery shopping and having a toddler with a newborn a breeze! The best thing I’ve purchased hands down!

I bought an Ergo when my first born was a baby. I’m now using it with my 4th and it’s like it’s still new. It’s fabulous! The babies love it! I wear it at least once a week grocery shopping but in the summer it’s everyday while the other kids are playing outside. I also wear it when we go to Disney World with toddlers. My back doesn’t hurt at all!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! Thanks for such awesome feedback Desiree!

  5. Erin

Love my ergo! Tried several others and nothing compares. I still use it on long hikes as a back carrier for my 3 year old.

My sister-in law’s friend gave her a used one during her first pregnancy, used it for 6 straight years with two kids. Total of 9 yrs of use between the two owners. When she was pregnant with the third, we bought her a new one and she was thankful because it had just started to rip. We bought it from Zuilly and it was worth every penny.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing Emily!

I got one last year when you posted the Zulilly deal. I haven’t seen a better price! And honestly, there are a lot of pros to the original, even though it doesn’t have as many options for positioning. The weight limit is higher, which is a big plus for me. My husband and I both find it super comfortable versus a cheap Infantino one we had been given! Way better on the back!

  9. Sara

Great price. I paid double this for mine!

Best baby carrier by far & I’ve tested them all! I started with the baby bjorn & had numerous other carriers through the raising of my four kiddos. I also really liked the more wrap style like the moby & sleep wrap which is also fantastic but takes some time to get the wrapping part perfected & if you want to involve daddy in the carrying this ergo is simply perfection. Very easy to use & adjustable, comfortable & safe for baby unlike the baby bjorn that holds the baby in an unsafe way for their spine & legs. Love the ergo that you can easily switch the baby around or even wear this front or on your back when your baby starts getting bigger & wants to start seeing more of the world around you. 😉 I’d jump in this deal it’s a great price & these also retain their value for resale or hold up well if you prefer to pass them down to another family or friend. Excellent carrier!! 💗

Hello, everyone! Could those of you, who have had experience with these, please let me know, how you feel about it, when compared to the LILLEbaby SIX-Position, 360° Ergonomic Baby & Child Carrier? I don’t know which one to buy, and I want to make sure I have one on hand, when my little guy is born in August! Thanks so much, in advance!

    • LM

Hi Gail! When your new little one is born you may find a k’tan, moby, wrap, or ring sling to be a little easier at first. Most carriers have a weight minimum and even with an infant inserts, some newborns are still too small (like my little girl who was only 6lbs 1oz)

Carriers are a HUGE investment and before you settle on one I would suggest trying to find a local Babywearing group on Facebook. You can usually find moms with each of the carriers, or even better a lending library. That way you can try all of the different carriers and see what works best for you and your new little one. Everyone is shaped differently so while Ergo feels better for some, Lilliebaby, Kinderpack, or Beco may feel better for you. We are a Tula family but only realized this after trying on all the different carriers.

We definitely didn’t get ours as cheap as this zulily deal but there is no price on comfort when it comes to carrying a little one, in my opinion. Hope this helps 🙂

    • Sarah

I have one of these that we still use with my 30 lb toddler, and wanted another carrier for our new baby coming this summer. So I was researching again before I took the plunge. If I had seen this deal before buying, I would have bought another original Ergo without hesitation. When I researched I realized that for us, the benefit of the original having a higher weight limit outweighed the options of different positions. I ended up going with a Lillebaby, because I got a good deal (but not as cheap as this!). I have heard good things about them, too, and I liked that it didn’t need an insert or anything for an infant. I’m also going to try out a Moby this time when the baby is tiny. I don’t think you would regret buying an Ergo, though, and you won’t find it any cheaper. It is so much more comfortable than the other cheaper carrier we had tried. My husband and I both find it comfortable to carry our toddler, although I’ve stopped since I’m so big and pregnant right now!

  12. Anna

Does anyone have any thoughts on the ergo vs the infantino wrap and tie? I have the wrap and tie but I’ve always heard positive things about the ergo…
    Thank you!

    • MJCBennett

I have the Mei Tai sash and just ordered the ergo. The ergo is a bit quicker to get in because it’s clips versus having to tie and everything. It all depends on if you want a structured carrier or a wrap. I will probably use them both. Lol

      • Anna

Thank you for the feedback! Yes the wrap is comfortable but you’re right- this would definitely be quicker and bonus- hubby would use it 🙂
