Anyone have tips on how to get a 5 yr old to ride a bike? (I’m talking ab one WITH training wheels). He cannot make the pedals move. He tries to push with his feet but the pedals don’t move. It’s been a year now.
We had a similar problem with our son. We ended up getting him a big wheels….The pedal kind that sit lower to the ground. It gave him practice pedaling, but he felt more secure not being up so high. Good luck!
We had to use a tricycle with my 3 year old. We went outside everyday to practice until he got it. They just have to build those gross motor skills. We got a great tricycle from harbor freight tools, it would fit a 5 yr old.
