This is a great deal! I have been able to find most of our Tag books at Goodwill! It’s a good way to build your collection. There’s a list available on the Leapfrog site to let you know what books are compatible with this Leapreader pen.

Been wanting to get this for my son for 2 years and it’s finally a lower price and I don’t even have $16 this week…ugh well not meant to be. Awesome for those who can snag it! 🙂
Any reviews or feedback on this? I’m considering it for my 4 year old, but don’t want it to be another toy that gets thrown to the side. We have an mouse which she adores, so I’m wondering if this would be worthwhile.
Won’t be. It’s the most used toy in the house. Really. U do have to get several books tho. I have about 30… got the. Used at resales .
This is a great deal and this toy is a wonderful learning tool, but books are really expensive. We only have a couple because I got good deals on them.
I’m looking at getting this for my almost 4 year old for Christmas. Will we see it around this price again before Christmas, or is this a great price that we won’t see again?

Same price on Amazon.. Is it really good? Feedback please. I have 3 year old, wanted to see if its worth buying. Are the books compatible costly?
I think it’s a great product. Got it for my 5 yr old but unfortunately haven’t been able to use it bc it requires you download a program to your computer and my desktop for whatever reason won’t accept the download application. Very frustrating. I have a Dell and have never had trouble downloading anything.
Really good if you get the books.
I bought this for my daughter two years ago (then 2.5 years old) with book set 1 and Get Ready for Kindergarten book. It has been an awesome reading tool. Now she has 4 books sets Volume 1 to 4 (bought during Target semi annual toy clearance) and all girls Read on your own books. Also, bought World Map, USA map, human body and solar system. My daughter loves listening to the pen read books at night to her during bedtime. For those who are on the fence of buy or no buy, my suggestion is get it. The book set 1 (come with 6-7 books) is not around $7 on Amazon. I just bought her a second leapreader since she has so many books and activity books that her leapreader couldn’t hold all of them. Thus, I am getting her a second leapreader so I can install all of them now.
