I grew up in the eighties eating LOTS of junk, twinkies/cereals (high sugared) throughout anytime of the day /those grenade bottled juices, etc, but yet I was never overweight cause I ran around like a monkey with my friends playing manhunt and such. Toxic wise I dk, I think my body handled it pretty well since I’m still AOK today lol. These days, being more educated 😜if you want to call it that, trying to watch what healthy/organic things to eat but yet seems people have more illnesses than ever. It’s so ironic. I say just eat what you like enjoy life, but don’t over do anything – on either side 😊
I wasn’t being rude. I think chastising those who choose to eat chicken nuggets is rude. I’m so sick of people jumping on their high horse to make other people feel bad for their food choices. I was just stating that the comment was unnecessary and those who don’t like the deal should just move along instead of feeling the need to put others down.

Well I think what most here are trying to say is, it just really wasnt a nice thing to say. My friend is a chef at high end 5* restaurant. Someone like him would probably think most of what you eat is not up to *quality standard* even if you think is good food. So if he were say to you what you are feeding you, your family and children are cheap and crap, I’m sure you would be offended, even if it’s a little, which you would have a right to be. Just think about that for a bit and you know you’d be lying if you said you wouldn’t feel a thing.
U weren’t being rude. Yes everyone is aware that fast good isn’t exactly healthy but to each their own righ? And…everything in moderation.

Yes I do. Not that it’s any of your business. I have 2 healthy kids…now 20 and 25 years old. And yes on occasion they ate fast food. Smh
What’s it of your business what another parent feeds their child? My nephew has sensory issues and has a handful of foods he can eat without gagging, including chicken nuggets. He doesn’t get them every day, but neither I nor my brother & sister-in-law should be made to feel bad b/c he eats them.

i was thinking that i don’t need the deal posted about “Summer’s Eve,” but i don’t think i should go on that thread and say it’s wrong for everybody and no one should use it because i choose not to use it.

BK in my Area also offer ice cream conea for 49 cents everyday after 2pm. But this is a good deal my kiddos luv their nuggets.
When they first started the promo the nuggets were good, but about a year ago they switched to new nuggets and were terrible. Did they ever switch again? We haven’t had them since.

Right!? i thought the exact same thing. that hot dog is likely made up of the same veins, gristle, fat, hooves, or whatever the other commenter said about these nuggets.
Collin posts about free M&M’s, $1 hot dogs, discounted Pepsi, etc, and i think most people/intelligent people know they should indulge in this kind of thing only sometimes.
it appears that some of these commenters would prefer a “Big Brother” Collin, who sensors deals to only let us know about the things that she thinks are good for us, instead of letting us decide what is right for us and our family?

I agree. I think if someone believes this isn’t fit for their own life style, then they should keep it to themselves and just move on to the next post. There’s no need to have any negative comment on it because it WILL be taken negatively as it is no other way to be taken. Negative comments are negative. Those same people probably eat hot dogs at BBQ w/o a blink of an eye and I think hot dogs are much more of a mystery in what it’s made of than nuggets, but I for one love to EAT both!!! 😆
So how long does this last. I have been thinking I need some go to ideas for the busy summer days out that we want something easy for lunch.

Well…..I think they’re pretty darn good. Healthy? Nope. Good price? Absolutely. My kids love chicken anything and I have no problem letting them indulge from time to time. OT. I used to buy Banquet chicken patties a lot for myself years ago and they were good…then I bought some recently on two different occasions from two different stores and they were so gross I had to throw them away. Same with their fried chicken. Wth! Just wondering if my taste has changed that much over the years or if Banquet has changed something. If anyone has experienced this I would love to know your thoughts. And, yes, I know they aren’t healthy but I am human.

My family falls on hard times sometimes. Unexpected car, house, or medical expense. These posts can be the difference between my husband and I not eating for the night because we can’t afford it to eating something. My toddler is a horrible eater and will only eat hot dogs most of time. *Gasp!*The comment section in these posts lately are horrendous. This is a FREE site where she gives us tips and knowledge on how to save. Countless hours she and her team spend to provide matchups. Snide comments and political opinions can be refrained. We’re adults, we should have learned restraint and positivity at this point.
