Does anyone know how I use these with my top loading HE machine? Do I just put it in the tub with the clothes or do I put it in the regular detergent section?
I just start the washer and drop 1 or 2 in once there is a small amount of water in the machine, and then I add my fabric softener and my clothes. I hope this helps!
In the wash with the clothes – at my university we have high efficiency washers and everyone puts the pacs in the detergent spot and it just disintegrates into a goopy mess and their clothes never get clean 😬
It actually says on the instruction to toss the pod in the drum before the clothes….
How to Use Tide PODS
“Toss Tide PODS Spring Meadow Scent pac into the washing machine drum before you add clothes. Turn on any cycle, without worry as Tide PODS dissolve in any temperature. For especially dirty loads, you can add a second pac.”
I put mine in the detergent section and have not had any problems so far 🙂
In tub before u put in the clothes….
I have been using it for last 2 yrs now. It is very convenient and has to be put with dirty clothes. I put 1 per load and happy with outcome.
I just toss a pod into the washer before I load the clothes. Works fine 🙂
Free and Gentle is slightly cheaper and also has $5+subscribe and save.

THANKS!!! I opted for this one 🙂
I don’t see the $5 clip and save. I got the one last month does that mean we can’t get it again?
I guess the coupon didn’t reset. I got it last month also and don’t see the coupon.
I don’t see the coupon either… yeah, maybe because I got this the last time. Luckily, I signed up for a 3 month trial last night through Swagbucks using my other email account, I’m grabbing this deal again! Hubby loves these Tide pods!
The coupon says “$5 off on first delivery”. Sounds like it is a one-time use.
Off topic: VICTORIA SECRET LOTION QUICKLY IS LIVE!!! I was faster than 149,xxx people!!! Good luck!!!
Got it last month, so i don’t see a coupon
While I like the convenience of the pods, please be sure you have them stored in a location that children cannot get a hold of them… “Children have been sampling regular detergent for years without much harm. But young children who accidentally burst packets of concentrated detergent have been hospitalized at a rate of about one a day in the U.S. since the products were rolled out widely in 2012. While at least seven people have died after ingesting their contents, thousands of children experienced only minor symptoms.”
You can view the article here (https://www.wsj.com/articles/laundry-pod-dangers-stump-medical-experts-1435702614) if you are interested in seeing it. At least 7 have died from eating them, so just in case you weren’t aware of the problem for with kids thinking they look like candy, I wanted to pass on the info.
Thanks so much for the feedback Mandy! Good to know!

I clipped the $5 coupon but when I review my subscription I don’t see it in the savings… Will it show up after I subscribe?
Are you able to head to checkout to find it available in the order details? Hope that helps!
