I Just Ordered My $15 Fabletics Outfit (I Share the REALLY Good & the NOT So Good)

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Fabletics OutfitsThrough today, May 31st only, Fabletics, a site co-founded by Kate Hudson that sells high-quality active-wear, is hosting a Memorial Day Sale and offering up your first outfit for as low as ONLY $15 + FREE Shipping (no code needed).

Read below for more details on this promotion – including the really GOOD, the somewhat good, and the NOT so good.

Fabletics First, head on over to Fabletics.com and click on the “Get Started” button, then select if you’re a male or female (YES – that have sets available for as low as $15 shipped for both women and men!). You’ll then need to fill out your sizing info and answer a few additional questions.

Now it’s time to shop!

Based on the sizes you selected and the questions you answered, they will show you a selection of outfits that they think you may like. Keep in mind that you do NOT have to select one of these options and you can actually use the main header menu to look at all of the outfit options available. Either click on ‘Men’s’ and then ‘Sets’ OR ‘Women’s’ and then ‘Outfits’ from the top menu.

THE REALLY GOOD

The really, really good – definitely the incredibly LOW deal price! Scoring a set of workout gear (pants and a top) for $15 shipped to your door… ummm, $7.50 each?! YES, that rocks! Compare this to similar brands and you won’t typically find prices this low.

My Fabletics Outfit
In addition, they have cute stuff… like really cute stuff! I actually had a hard time deciding which set to go with, so I ended up grabbing the sports bra that went with my set too! And what’s even better, I still only ended up spending $20.99 shipped for all THREE items. I can’t wait to get these in the mail.

If interested, I went with the Aloe outfit (as pictured above). To easily find this outfit, just click on the search button which is located in the top towards the right, then search ‘Aloe’. I went with the tulip color for the top – I wanted to add a pop of color since the other items I purchase are black.

Fabletics Outfit Also, Lina (our recipe/DIY gal) received the active-wear outfit pictured above. She was more than pleased with the quality of the items and thought they seemed really similar to the pricey Lululemon brand.

Fabletics also has a reward point system, so you can get free items when you buy enough stuff from them.
Depending on who you are and how much you like the products, this can be a good thing. πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome, Emily! Thanks for the heads up on the reward system!

  2. Katie

Just a warning: I’ve read in different articles over time that they pull all the standard tricks to keep you as a member – long hold times, argumentative reps, false cancellations, etc. So check your credit card statement after you cancel and remember it’s not a deal if you aren’t ready to do the legwork to jump through the hoops (they have to make money somehow).

    • Wehaf

I’ve heard the same thing – it’s extremely difficult to cancel a membership, and lots of former members or trying-to-be former members are very unhappy with that side of things.

      • Beth

I signed up with Fabletics a few years ago to give them a try. I only wanted to get my low priced outfit and then quit. I had also read that it could be difficult trying to get out of the commitment, but I ultimately decided it was still a good deal even if it did end up being difficult to get out of the contract. That being said, I DID call to cancel after one month and had NO problem at all. The man that I spoke to was kind and courteous and easily canceled me. There were no mental mind games happening, no arguing- nothing. It wasn’t difficult at all. I just thought I should share my experience since everyone is very quick these days to always share the negative. My experience was very positive.

        • Erin

It’s interesting that the rep was a man. I wonder if that had anything to do with the no-pressure tactics. I stupidly joined FabKids and I always spoke to women for whom English was not their first language. They were hard to understand through their accents and they spoke in circles. It took three tries and about a year to free myself from them. After that, I blocked them from my credit card.

  3. dblD-amber

I agree with the good and bad. Can’t beat the prices and it’s really cute stuff. Although I did notice that after a few washes I noticed some threads coming apart. Poor quality but at $7 a piece I can’t really complain. I would probably keep ordering if I didn’t have to become part of their club.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear that πŸ™ Thanks so much for the honest feedback!

    • Heidi

My outfit was quite the opposite. The pants slimmed me and supported all my “trouble” areas. I’ve never had a great fit like this before.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing!

  4. Molly

Buyer beware….cancelling the monthly subscription is extremely difficult. Check out BBB complaints.

    • Wendy

Very true. I was NEVER able to cancel. After countless calls, chats, and emails. I was never able to get ahold of a rep. I had to go through the bank and change my debit card number.

    • CN

This is so true. I had a really really hard time canceling my membership. Their customer service representative kept pressuring me to keep my membership even though I kept saying I wanted to cancel. i felt really uncomfortable. I didn’t like feeling pressured like that. After a very long time on the phone I was able to cancel my membership. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.

    • Michelle

Ok did you personally cancel? I had ordered from their shoe company and kids and when we moved I didn’t want to mess with it and cancelled no issues. I received a confirmation email and was never charged again and this was back in January. Now I just joined this one for my teenage daughter and fab for myself since they now offer plus sizeπŸ˜„ my outfit came with 2 white spots on it and they are rush shipping me a replacement and gave me a $10 credit… So only trust people that have actually ordered because I have had no issues so far…

  5. El

I was a VIP on the site and called to cancelled my membership only to continue to be charged for months. After many arguments they finally actually cancelled my membership but refused to refund the “credits” they charged me after I had already cancelled the first time. I disputed it with my credit card and after a long nightmare got refunded!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear how difficult it was to cancel. Thanks for sharing your experience!

  6. Stacey

I became a fable tics member a year or so ago and had no trouble canceling. However, the top I got is really frustrating. The padded inserts become folded/shift inside their pocket and they’re a pain to straighten out. I signed my hubby up for an account recently but decided to forgo the outfit. Just too much headache and I really need more workout wear.

  7. Ktarty

I did not try Fabletics but did Fabkids, which has the same model, and in my experience canceling the subscription was not very difficult. I called and said I wanted to cancel. I can’t remember if I had to answer a few questions or not, but it must not have been too bad (because that I would remember!).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

  8. Jennifer

I think what a lot of people dont realize that it is a subsciprtion service. I had it a couple years ago and I cancelled because I was pregnant. I didn’t have any difficulty cancelling it. I think I was one of the lucky ones.

  9. Dani

Horrible experience with JustFab. Card expired on account and then they started charging a new card after a few years of no activity. I never added the card (which had a different card security code), but they claimed the credit card company provided them with updated information and they would not refund the credits. This all happened during a few months before and after my wedding and since there was so much going on I didn’t see the charges until over $200 later. Had to cancel my card and luckily the card company resolved the issues. I looked online and this happened to a lot of other people as well.

    • I'mSoFrugal

This happened to me as well, but only the $39.95 price. After being transferred a few times & being put on hold for extremely long periods of time, I was finally able to cancel. They told me since my card had already been billed, then I should just go ahead and place my order with the credit I have, then next month call back to cancel. I just told them NO, just cancel the account & send my email verification. I will just take the loss of $39.95.

      • Erin

Dispute it with your credit card company! And to be safe, ask them to block Fabletics. I’m glad they only got you for one month’s subscription.

    • Jen

I had a terrible experience with just fab as well, tried several times to cancel, then I would get my credit card statement and I was still being charged . Then shortly after I had fraudulent charges on my card and I ca only assume it was the person working at just fab. So I stay clear of any “Fab” company

  10. Lashanda

I just got my order on Sat. I will have to send the pants back because they send a xs but I ordered a large. I hope I will not have these same problem when I do cancel.

  11. Michelle Murphey

I did this in the past and it was very hard to cancel. I called to cancel several times and they kept charging me. They kept saying they had no record of me calling. Then I called again and asked to talk to a manager. I was on hold for over an hour and then they tried for like 20 minutes to get me to stay. I demanded they refund the 2 months they charged me after I canceled. It took over a month for that to go through. I will never do it again. It is just not worth it to me!

  12. ann

Too many horror stories from this company. I’ve received some of their stuff before and it’s honestly not that great quality as people are making it out to be. I rather go to Tj Maxx or marshalls to get nice workout clothes for cheap.

  13. Fabi

I ordered my $15 outfit too! 😊 I cancelled after I received my outfit with no issues.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear how easy it was for you to cancel!

  14. Alicia

The outfit I ordered is coming up as $20.88. Are only select outfits for $15? Am I doing something wrong?

    • Rebecca

The cheaper ones are 2 pieces, no sports bra included.

    • Kate

They’re not all $15. Mine was $20 too. So was Colin’s

  15. Heidi N

I love my $15 set and felt it was simple to cancel. As soon as I received my products I called, that way I didn’t have to remember to cancel every month. I thought the process was easy and I love the quality of the clothing.

  16. ihearthip

Beware. This company is affiliated with fab kids and they were completely difficult to cancel. I was on the phone for over 45 mins talking to different people and they gave me the runaround. The worst part is I didn’t even know I was signed up. I got the free outfit and did not sign up for recurring. I thought it was terrible they began charging me for merchandise I wasn’t receiving.

  17. Kelly

Thanks for all the reviews I would definitely rather go to tj maxx like the other reader said!

  18. Rebecca

Collin I ordered the same set after you posted the other day! Not looking forward to canceling, maybe I’ll skip a few months first lol. But desperately needed something to get me motivated to work out more, and this outfit was cute without breaking the bank. I really think every subscription service should allow you to cancel online with one click! I get they are trying to retain customers but that’s not the way to do so! I would bet that many people would resubscribe for a future deal had they not made it such a hassle to cancel.

  19. Kate

Giving this a try! Much less than Lululemon (my absolute favorite) but looks just as cute! Thanks Colin. If anyone wants to use my link, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

    https://www.fabletics.com/invite/103058708

  20. Kami

I just cancelled my subscription 2 min ago. I spoke with Kaitlyn and she was pleasantly helpful. The process took all of 3 min. She even pulled up my account # based on the phone I was calling from.

    • Lynn

That’s reassuring! I should be getting my outfit and will probably cancel. Depending on the quality, it could be worth the $50, but I’m not sure I want to remain in the subscription status. Hopefully my cancellation will be as simple as yours!

    • Bethany

But the real question is was your account really cancelled? It may not have been based on other reviews! A lot of these companies tell you that your account is cancelled even when it’s not.

    • rebecca

how do you know it is cancelled? you won’t really know until several months go by that do not reflect charges on your credit card.
it took me over a year to really be cancelled. multiple phone calls with reps that insisted my account was closed was irrelevant. one time i even had a few months go by without a charge to my card, and i thought it was cancelled, but they then started charging again. i could not get out of the service until i contested the charges to my CC company and reversed the charges 2 months in a row.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! Glad to hear how easy it was for you to cancel!

  21. Joy

Can you order then cancel subscription before receiving outfit?

  22. Mari

Yes, please be aware. I see this company is also linked with other companies I have ordered from online in the past. Same setup, regarding buying something and cancelling after 30 days. Had to jump through several hoops, dig through trenches, swim through the ocean, and finally when I came up for air, they told me they would cancel, but get this, my credit card will ALWAYS be on file and they CANT remove my credit card from their system. Of course I was furious, but hey…joke was on them because my card expired a month later, so I called bank and had them kindly send a replacement with a different number. So I’ve always stayed away from companies like this…they have great deals, but my credit and personal information is worth more than $15 and possible breach of security

  23. Junip

I just bought 3 pairs of workout capris at Marshall’s the other day. One pair was $10 and the others were $13. Really comfortable and I was able to try them on first. Sometimes it’s better to spend a few extra dollars than deal with the hassles described here just to get a deal.

    • Jennifer

      I agree

  24. innysuzanne

Well known fact that they have been a problem for a long time. Nothing but bad reviews about their subscription service for over a year now! Just Google it before you try.

    • Melissa

Actually, the company has been around since 2013, and has had horrible reviews since then. The company has never cleaned up its act. Consistent complaints of customers having terrible times attempting to cancel and unwanted credit card charges that continue to rack up, some after cancellation efforts, are the typical frustrations. The company just keeps finding new customers by offering deals that get people on the subscription service. If they made cancellation possible by using their website, just like Amazon does, they would have fewer complaints. But that is not their business model. Personally, the frustration involved in buying from a company such as this is not worth getting a “good deal”.

  25. Hill

I’ve been getting my athletic gear at gap factory outlet or kohl’s all on clearance- haven’t tried this yet though

  26. v

With any subscription service, always use a prepaid visa card, not your actual bank card. I tried Fabkids in the past and it was very difficult to cancel, but it didn’t matter because I used a prepaid card anyway. Don’t sign up unless you use a prepaid card.

    • Mari

I even tried using a prepaid Visa/MasterCard but it always gives me a message that they want you to use a credit/debit card with these services. Other than that, after my 1st experience, I ALWAYS use a prepaid card when shopping online..always! πŸ˜„

  27. patricia

Tjmaxx, marshalls, ross, burlington have brand name workout clothes for decent prices.

    • deana conlon

I agree. I buy most of my workout gear at TJ Maxx or Marshalls…even Target. $8-$16.99 usually.

      • Mari

Will definitely check out both TJ Maxx and Marshalls..Thanks for the recommendation Patricia!

  28. Jen

SKIP JCPenney has 40-75 % off their adorable work out wear… Some really cute style are on clearance, I paid $5.95 for my reg $65.00 pants yest. Also, just wait for a sale they run their top of line work out stuff 50% off. & I coupled it with two transactions. & used the $10 off $25 q. A trip to the mall yes but beats risk of headaches above..

    • Crystal

I totally forgot about JC Penney’s for athletic wear. Did’t know you could use the coupons on sale items. Usually I go to Target, Marshall’s, or TJ Maxx. Was going to sign up, but I really don’t like companies that sign you up for memberships. If your items are good there is no need to trick people into signing up for a service.

  29. deana conlon

I’m having trouble cancelling Thrive Market on a side note….and they just charged me $29.95 for no reason.

    • v

I had to threaten to contact their state’s attorney general office just to get them to cancel. They refused to cancel my free trial and tried to extend it. Thrive Market is terrible. I didn’t get charged because I used a prepaid visa card with five dollars on it lol.

  30. Sam

I did the subscription for a few months and wasn’t happy with the quality, especially for the price. I am a DD and the tops did not fit. Like others, I had a hard time canceling. It took several calls.

  31. Sg

I got a free legging from them 2 yrs back when they launched themselves. I also bought an outfit from them for $25 after that. The leggings and outfit are fantastic and I did cancel after a few months. Once I forgot to skip they charged my card, I called them and told them to revert. They did that for me within 5 minutes.

  32. Coby

I signed up couple of months ago and cancelled on the 1st month after they’re due to send another outfit and I didn’t have a hard time.. Just wanted to give feedback

  33. Kelly Piper

Great service experienced here…with customer service, product, canceling, exchanging. Easy good quality. Only thing is they DO NOT HAVE high impact bras for larger busts. I don’t care what they tell you. Otherwise, love it!

  34. Allison M.

I completely agree with the review. I love the products but I hated having to skip the month every single month. I finally called and canceled.

  35. Mary

So I’m having trouble wrapping my mind around $600 spent on workout clothes each year….😱

    • JH

I agree Mary! Most people don’t look at it that way though. $50 a month sounds less intimidating than $600 a year, which is how these sites get away with it. Yearly cost is a much better perspective though πŸ™‚

      • Melissa

$600 a year sounds like way too much for me as well. How many workout outfits does one need, anyway? Having a subscription for a new outfit each month is certainly not in my budget. I can see owning 3 at most so that at least one is clean when I am heading to the gym. But to each his own, of course….

  36. Hannah

I ordered about a week ago. I received a workout outfit for under $18, and was happy. Their sizes run a little smaller than Victoria’s Secret, so it is a little snug, but the quality seems good so far. I cancelled this afternoon and it took less than 5 minutes. They were respectful and encouraged me to stay, but we’re not pushy.

  37. 4Ella

It was sooooo hard to cancel my membership and products i ordered were not so good so i ended up donating it. They charged me after the cancelations so it was many many calls that u had to make.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Sorry to hear it was so difficult to cancel πŸ™

  38. Jenifer

There is an article published today on AOL about this company. Here is the headline.
Kate Hudson’s Wildly Popular Athleisure Company Is Trying To Shake Its Scam Reputation

    • me

Lol, I just read the article. They say they are estimated to make $650 million this year. So I guess most of that money is coming from people that couldn’t cancel or people that thought they canceled but are still being charged and haven’t realized it yet lol. Ridiculous.

  39. Guestygrrl

Agree with the difficulty to cancel plus fit was awful. I am not large, size 10, but not made for someone with an hourglass figure. If you are top heavy I would steer well clear of this brand. Plus top started to unravel at the seams after first wash…

  40. Workaholic

I’m always leery of subscription based items. If I can’t pay thru PayPal I Google the company. I’ve had a pleasant experience with ipsy. I cancelled because I’m moving and not needing anything at the moment but will sign up again once I move into my new place. Cancelling was a breeze. Didn’t even have to call anyone.

  41. Robin

Please let us know if this comes up again – sad I missed it! I’ve wanted to try it but have been hesitant- for $15 I would give it a shot πŸ™‚ also just got the nume wand, even with some bad reviews I had tro try it for $40. Thanks for all the great deals!

  42. insearchofsunshine

Collin, I LOVE your site and I love YOU, but feel like Hip2Save is doing a disservice by promoting this company with documented POOR customer service and reputation. I come here to save money and it is upsetting to see this company promoted here almost weekly when it’s known they have ripped so many people off, (including TONS of your readers).

    • Michelle

Have u personally ordered from this company? I have and had zero problems with customer service. When we moved in January I cancelled an kids and shoe dazzle with no issues very quick and easy and never charged again… Now I ordered from just fab for myself since they offer plus size and when my dress came it had a slight issues… Rush shipped me a new one and gave me a $10 creditπŸ˜€ ordered from this one for my 14 year old because she is a dancer and she loved her outfit… My sister ordered from these company for years and loved getting new shoes and purses every month… So please only comment if u personally have ordered because my experience has been great!
