Scorpions? How does black lights help with scorpions? Just curious.

Something to do with the blood of scorpions glow under a black light.

I can vouch for the awesomeness if this flashlight! I have 3 cats, who are all a little barfy at times – this does a great job helping me find the spots I missed. I also use it after I’ve given the litter box area a good scrubbingπŸ‘ πŸ’© 🐈

Oh cool! Glad to hear how well it has worked! Thanks for the review!

A little off topic.. but once you find a dried stain, what do you use to get it up? My dog is 2 now and over accidents in the house but we got her when she was a puppy and had some trouble with training. I’d love to try this light, but don’t know what to do once I find the spots. Nothing as of yet has worked at getting them up.

I’ve had good luck with Spot Shot. πŸ˜‰

White vinegar! I have two cats and one dog. Ive spent a small fortune on cleaners that dont work. Walmart sells a cleaner called Three Monks that is a stronger acidity cleaning vinegar but regular white vinegar will do. If you have carpet, I recommend renting a carpet cleaner. The reality is you can spray cleaners all over those spots and try to dab it up but it wont get all of it. What you need is to let the vinegar solution soak down to the pad and suck it up and then go over it a few times with a rinse. Unfortunately nothing will get rid of it completely aside from new carpet. I have gotten rid of accident stains and use a black light along with the sniff test. Even though I dont see or smell it, animals have better noses and will go back to the same spot because they can smell it. Ive heard the only 100% way of blocking a stain is to rip up the carpet, seal the area, and get new carpet, as if I could afford that lol. Spot Shot works well but for pet stains, white vinegar. Also, the vinegar smell goes away completely. I gave up trying to scrub and blot spots with my daughter and pets all wreaking havoc on my beige carpet and carpet cleaning services are expensive! I broke down and bought a carpet cleaner machine I think by Bissell. BEST INVESTMENT EVER! Instead of putting shampoo in the compartment, I put vinegar and clean my carpets. Old stains I thought were permanent, gone. Plus pet stains I can feel confident that Im sucking it up and away instead of leaving a nasty pee or barf residue behind like hand scrubbing does.

    The promo code isn’t working.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How odd as the code still works for me. Maybe give it a try in another browser! πŸ™‚

I have been waiting to get one of these so I can find where in the bathroom urine are stains missed when cleaning around the toilet.

Wish I would have waited! I just bought one last week. It’s amazing. Highly recommend, but be prepared to be disgusted if you have a puppy!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear how well it works Kate! Thanks for the feedback!
