I dont get it. so basically its free…why would they do that.
The points are only valid for 14 days so you have to spend what you earn within two weeks. I suppose they hope you don’t spend them.
It’s not really free. If you think about it, it’s buy one get one free. That’s how they trick ya. More people will do this promo than if they just knocked 50% off clearance, and most people won’t redeem points.

Kmart did this a couple of months back, and I spent probably $50 or more and I didn’t receive the points back. I called SYW and they had no idea about the promotion. Luckily, I took a picture of the sign on the rack and they made me send them the pic to validate my claims smh. So definitely check to make sure you get your points!
I just went to mine and the clearance prices were still ridiculously high for me- if there was something I wanted to buy there right now I would’ve went ahead and got something to use the points but I don’t so wasn’t worth it to me

Those silly points…I gave up a long time ago. Seems like they keep getting trickier to get and use! I’d be more interested if they’d just charge reasonable prices in the first place instead of relying on gimmicks!!
I don’t know, I kind of love shop your way right before back to school. Last year I got several shirts for $1 or less for my kids. Just this week I got 8 pairs of shoes, a pair of flip flops and two pairs of socks, I paid $40 out of pocket, and got $20 back in points. Even without the points, that was like $5/pair of shoes, and free flip flops and socks. Then I turned around and got 8 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of cargo shorts that were BOGO. I redeemed my $20 in points, so I paid $50 out of pocket, then turned around and got another $20 in points, so $5 per pair of pants. My older son likes to slide on his knees, so we go through jeans quickly, and I swear he puts his shoes through a wood chipper or something when I am not looking. Now I am about to use these points to get winter clothes for our toddler because they are on BOGO right now. I should be able to pick up 8 outfits and only pay $25 out of pocket.
You must be super lucky!! Good for you!! But my Kmart never has deals and barely even keep the lights on!! I know that the points seldom work for me and you have to be a rocket scientist to score some of the deals! Then cross your fingers you get the correct points! I seem to do better with the Wal-Mart $1 racks!
Not getting sucked into this one! Went to pick up an order and they gave me the wrong item (was from lands end instead of what I ordered from Kmart) and went to Sears twice and Kmart once to try and get it fixed. They finally gave me a gift card and took back the wrong item, but, ugh, such a pain to fix THEIR mistake. And I still don’t have the item I actually bought because I would have to go back to Kmart and re-buy it! In theory it’s great, but you never know if the order will be right or not

I think this is a great deal…of course I’ll try to keep my purchase around $10 so if all goes right, I’ll get $10 in points back. I’m still “rolling” the $ from the Father’s Day get $50 wyb $50 in grilling goods deal from 2014 and other more recent deals. I love SYW!

If anyone is interested, I tried this today and was told this ended yesterday (the day Collin posted it).
Got a floor model front loading washer and dryer tonight with the pedestals. Also got a Bosch floor model dishwasher. Total bill was $2100 for all 5 pieces and got $1000 back on points! I’m thrilled!

This ended 7/5 I’m not sure where the 14 days thing came from :/ I shopped got $40 and got $40 in points the next day (7/5) also to everyone who doesn’t like Shop your way it could be because you don’t really use it- example- they have an app “Win it” you can spin to win points and on the SYW website you can play sweeps including instant win sweeps- I win between $1-$5 a day on instant win, ALSO I just found out yesterday I won a $760 boat from the fitness freak sweepstakes 🙂 SYW is awesome I have used points to get a $66 vacuum free, 4 reusable shopping bags, a kids toy storage bin thing, beach towels, screwdrivers, and I just got a $90 cookware set free 🙂 Love it!
