CFA Cow Day

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

In celebration of Cow Appreciation Day, Chick-fil-A will award customers dressed in cow attire a FREE breakfast, lunch or dinner entrée from opening until 7PM tomorrow, July 12th! Cow attire includes items like a cow-spotted scarf, purse, hat or other accessory. Kids can also score a FREE Kid’s meal for dressing in cow attire!

Chick-fil-A Cow DayIn previous years, Chick-fil-A gave entire meals to anyone dressed from head to toe as a cow. This year, customers can simply choose from a Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner entree item and need only to be wearing some form of cow attire – not an entire costume. For additional details, click HERE.

Need some inspiration for a cow costume?

* Start with items that you already have at home – cow-printed accessories stashed in your closet will work perfectly. Hats, vests, scarves, neckties, pants, shoes, pajamas – just abut any cow-spotted item will work.

* Wear white, and then just add spots. Throw on a white T-shirt with white pants (even sweatpants) and stick on your spots using black contact paper. If contact paper is not easily accessible, you can cut spots out of construction paper and tape them to your shirt and pants. If nothing else, you can grab an old white T-shirt and color black spots all over it with a magic marker.

* Go to your local paint or hardware store and get a white painter’s hat and overalls. And then decorate yourself with spots made out of contact or construction paper.

* Click here for a FREE printable costume.

We LOVE this event every year! I am a little sad they won’t be giving away a whole meal for those totally decked out but it does make it much easier. We have been doing it for a couple of years now, ever since one opened locally. Chick FIL a is our favorite restaurant and promotions like this are part of the reason we love it so much!

Can’t wait….cheap pancakes in the am and cheap lunch or dinner later on…I still want the free meal though…not just an entree..but hey free is free
And their headquarters are here in my hometown Atlanta Ga!! They do give tours with advanced notification

My family loves Cow Day also! I *think* the kids like the dressing up/making costume part even more than the free food. 🙂 I am sad that it isn’t a full meal anymore, but I am VERY thankful for the day of fun that it gives us.

Can you go through the drive thru?

    • Jennifer

Yes. That’s why I only go when they give things away for nothing. I enjoy costing them money. Figure it’s the best way to take my boycott up a notch.

      • Deb

        Wow.

      • Stephanie

I just have to ask why you boycott them?

      • Jamie

I’m not 100% sure that getting food from a place is boycotting them. I think boycott means you avoid them and don’t use their product….

        • riss

Maybe she thinks that by getting free food from them, she’ll take a little of what would’ve been their profit, so it’s a win-win for her?

        • faith

          Exactly!..ha ha

      • Ashley57

I feel the same way Jennifer.

      • meg

Lol. Your not costing them anything. Fyi…when u boycott you don’t go to the business for anything..free or not.

      • Hope

        Why go at all then?

  5. Sandy

They should give a free meal if you go through the effort dressing like a cow in public.

  6. Mike

Isn’t this the restaurant that promotes hate?

    • Amy

      Always that one person…

      • kristina

I Know Amy. if you dont want to go then dont go. I love Chick fil a and what they stand for 🙂

    • Kim

Mike just because their family values and beliefs differ from you does not make it hate. I love how one sided our country has become, everyone accepts everyone’s values and beliefs except for Christian community were called haters. Crazy world. Love chickfila and love how they are the most successful fast food chain ever and they are only open 6 days a week and give away tons of free food throughout the year, why are they so successful because they stand for God and with God all things are possible. They are a living testimony to what standing for you faith is. Keep on rocking it!

      • Holly

“I love how one sided our country has become, everyone accepts everyone’s values and beliefs except for Christian community were called haters. Crazy world”

Yup. In the end times, evil will become “good” and good will seem evil.

        • tanya

I agree with you. Chick fil a is the only fast food restaurant we go with our kids

      • faith

        TOTALLY AGREE!!!

      • Mia

It’s sad when people have so much admiration for this garbage that should not be called food, fried in unhealthy fats, causing all kinds of diseases.

    • Stephanie

Oh yea cause what the media says is ALWAYS true…..

    • Shelby

This restaurant never promoted hate. The people who own it gave money to a non profit organization that helps people who don’t want to be gay. They never forced anyone to attend those meetings or walked around with signs saying God hated them. It’s just a resource for people who want help. I bet if you actually listened in on the conversation at those events you’d be surprised how loving and accepting they are. I know people who have attended them. It’s not bashing them in any way.

    • Jackie

Love chick-fil-a!!! Love their values and all that they do for the community. I think it’s funny when someone says ignorant things like you. Have you heard of all the veterans that they have helped? All the money they donate to local schools? All the help they give to the community?( our town had some floods recently and they offered everyone who stopped by a free meal). I honestly think that the gay thing got out of hand and what they said was just blown out of proportion. LOVE this chain and I just can’t say enough to good things about them. You don’t like it then don’t go there! Just don’t make dumb Hateful comments and let the rest of enjoy a nice free meal

      • faith

        Well said!

    • Jennifer

I love how the Orlando chick fil a restaurants opened on Sunday after the terror attack and offered food and drinks to first responders, police and those who stood in line to donate blood. Love how the community came together and they were part of it.

      • Melanie

This ^^^. We could ALL take a lesson. Although their beliefs may be different from others, Chickfila practices what it preaches and really does “love one another.”

  7. Maria

Anything there for (sometime) vegetarians? Lol I think I saw oatmeal. Or I can get breakfast biscuit without the meat lol I miss their brownies

    • Jackie

      They have salads😉

      • Maria

        Thanks

  8. Heather J.

Maria, they make the chicken wrap minus the chicken for vegetarians, if you ask for it. It is pretty good.

    • Maria

      Thanks!!

  9. Jenny

OMG Cannot wait to do this, even though we are vegetarians we love to do this:)

  10. KIM

LOVE CHICK-FIL-A!!!!! Great company and great values! Truly an amazing giving company!!!!

  11. Chris

Amazing everyone just assumes the reason people boycott is because of the Christian ties. Perhaps people boycott as the owner poses with his kills from staged large game hunting in reserves. Just sayin.

  12. april

Chikfila is my favorite fast food place. Always clean, nice and order is always right. Plus they do good stuff for the community all the time. For people that boycott them thats stupid. The local stores help their community. The orlando store on a sunday ( when they are closed) cooked food for people donating blood after the tragedy in orlando

  13. Anna

We love love love chic-fila! My three little girls and I finished our costumes today 🙂 can’t wait!

  14. Sarah

    AMEN Kim!! Preach it sister!!!

  15. Bea

So, what was the answer on the drive through. It got a little off topic.

    • Hope

The answer is yes. We go thru the drive thru and say how many “cows” we have I’m the car. We have never had a problem.

      • Bea

        Thank you!
